When my puppy gets all his shots will it be okay to start training
Hi Sandra, We offer a puppy preschool class for undervaccinated puppies 8-16 weeks of ag. The medical requirement are that they must have received their first distemper/parvo vaccine and ten days must have passed since it was administered. You must also provide us with a copy of a negative fecal test result indicating no parasites were found in your puppy's stool. We sanitize our entire facility and equipment used during the class with Rescue, a veterinary hydrogen peroxide based cleaner before each preschool class. For puppies who have completed the series of puppy vaccines and have their rabies vaccine, we have a puppy kindergarten for puppies 4-7 months of age.

Kim and Building Bonds is so great. I can't say enough good things. TLDR version is she's great and helped all things from my fearful dog reacting to my toddler to fun games in reasonable price ranges and I'm extremely thankful. Long version is: The first class I took with Kim was a scent training group class. It was so fun and Kim understood my weirdo dog so well. Next up my dog was starting get more and more reactive on the leash so I took the online Behavioral Adjustment Training (BAT) course. It totally changed my relationship with my dog in the best way. Walks with Piper are fun again and now I know how to support Piper before reacts. Best of all it was online so I could fit into my busy schedule and I think it was cheap considering how much I learned. Turns out Piper was getting super stressed by 1 yr old kiddo and after many many tears we called Kim in for a home visit assessment. She gave us lots of great tips and broke them down into manageable chunks. She never shamed us and helped us think through think through what would be our line for rehoming and what we'd need to do to prevent that from happening. She had assessed and I agreed Piper was a bite risk. It's been 10 months and we're all still happily together thanks to her help. I probably wouldn't still have my dog, who is my world, if it wasn't for her. I'm always watching her class schedule for fun opportunities to work with my dog and teach us both new skills.
We loved class with Michelle at Building Bonds. I’ve never had a trainer that not only works on commands but assists in developing tools and mechanisms to use at home to stop tough behaviors. From when we started six weeks ago, up to today, our puppy Oscar had become much more confident and considerate gentleman. Can’t wait to start another class soon! Thank you Michelle! You’re the best.

My puppy and I have had amazing experiences attending classes at Building Bonds. The instructors are incredibly patient with both pets and their owners. They offer guidance, explain the concepts of the training methods, listen to any concerns, and present various training approaches customized for each pet. We intend to continue progressing in our training at Building Bonds to enhance our understanding of each other and ensure a fulfilling life together for many years to come.
Kim was very helpful in correcting my dog’s leash reactivity I highly recommend Building Bonds.
