From a Bite to Belly Rubs — Caitlin is a Miracle Worker! Tamaqua, PA I can’t say enough about Caitlin’s dog training services! I live near Tamaqua and regularly work as a pet sitter. A few months ago, I was bitten—badly—by a dog named Reese while handing him a treat. He was stiff, anxious, didn’t like people in his space, and would lunge or growl at anyone who got too close. It shook me up, and honestly, I didn’t think Reese would ever trust me again. But then Caitlin stepped in. Caitlin Bird We inherited our dog Reese a few months ago. We deemed her a one person dog, as she was not friendly with other dogs or small animals, and people. Caitlin was recommended to us, so we reached out to her to help us with Reese’s “aggressive” demeanor and help with socializing Reese. Caitlin assessed Reese was probably not aggressive , but there may be some underlying reason why she is reactive. Caitlin videoed Reese walking and could assess some joint issues, and said she may need pain meds and calming meds. We had Reese checked by our Vet and started her on some meds. After 4 sessions, Caitlin and our dog walker can muzzle her, pet her and walk her. We are very pleased with Caitlin’s training, and look forward to introducing Reese to other people.
