Cali K9 Los Angeles Dog Training

Cali K9 has been a great experience! Every week we have seen improvements with our dogs obedience. Each week we are becoming more confident in being the leaders our dog needs and desires. And how some of what we were doing was leading to his behaviors. We are all extremely happy with the progress and looking forward to seeing our dogs final results from his trainings. The Cali K9 system has given us the tools we needed to get the type of obedience and confidence we were looking for from our dog.to be off leash.

I cannot say enough, good things about Cali K9! After my last beloved Akita crossed over the rainbow my husband and I adopted two rescue dogs, and shortly after began training them, and socializing them. However, while we were doing all of this, my husband suddenly and unexpectedly died, leaving me with two reactive dogs. There was absolutely no way I was going to rehome them, and so I turned to Cali K9. Jas, Hamzah, And the whole team are absolutely amazing, have been so compassionate with my situation, And helped me out so much, That I will forever be in their debt. We watched the Netflix series “canine intervention” and were amazed at the results Jas gets. Absolutely transformative! So when I needed help I did not mess around I went right to Cali k9. Let me tell you that working in Northern California with Hamzah has been an amazing experience and there is nothing lacking from the So Cal Branch (i worried) and I signed both my dogs up for the Elite package which included 8 private, 8 semi-private and 8 zoom classes. I have to admit, I have never been a fan of Zoom, and worried that those classes wouldn’t be Helpful or good, and how wrong I was! Jas and his team take time to really give good feedback, the group is small and I don’t see anyone else so I’m assuming no other dog owners are watching me, we are all busy doing the drills with our own dogs. We get immediate feedback from the trainers it’s wonderful! At the end we have ample question and answer time, and never have I felt like “time is up, that’s all.” No—they love what they do and are committed to the work, and are there to really and thoroughly answer all our questions. And let me tell you, after just the FIRST class with Hamzah in San Jose, there was a NOTABLE difference in my dogs’ behavior. We train every day and they do NOT let me slack when I’m tired, they absolutely LOVE it and want to do all the drills. Even for just 15 minutes a day, they love it. I have one dog that picks it up right away and the other takes a bit more time, she’s stubborn, but even she has changed dramatically. I’m proud to be part of the CaliK9 family and to be able to highly recommend their system of training.i don’t know what I would have done without them. For the record, I’ve done a few training and behavior classes, and even paid for a specialist on reactivity for my last Akita, so I knew a few things about dog training—these guys have been so much better than any training I’ve ever gone through. If money is an issue, they have payment plans, and I myself was in a bad place after my husband’s death, financially, because I had been on disability for a broken foot—it was a bad time. They were amazing and their first goal is to get your dog to be the dog he or she can be. Watch the series. Every bit of it is accurate to the outcomes you will get. You have to be consistent and do the practicing…but like I said, my dogs won’t let me slack—they live to train! It’s honestly the best investment I’ve made in our lives. You will not regret spending this money and it’s worth way more now that I’m going through the training.

We got Smokey our French bulldog when my grand daughter and daughter had him shipped to the SF Bay Area! Smokey came to us already having bitten several people in Atlanta!! He has a strong reaction to both humans and other dogs! He also thinks he is a big dog who must keep no one but us coming in and out of the house! We tried work with a behavioral psych vet in Dublin. She was even afraid of Smokey but I spent over 2000.00 trying to have her tell us how to work with Smokey! After Smokey bit several more people we had no choice but to see more intense help! Someone recommended CaliK9. The cost seemed so prohibitive but I used a credit card to pay for the 4 week board and train program!! It was the best money I have spent since Smokey returned home knowing the ground rules!! Devin was our super hero! But now we need to be trained to work with Smokey. Hamza is the star trainer and he is training us and Smokey in real time and showing us what we need to learn to connect with Smokey! It’s a very slow and intentional process but we can see change and good results!! But we do know we will have to keep at it as we learn what Smokey learned in the board and train program! This program is outstanding!! I so appreciate that Jas the owner called us when we were failing with knowing how to support Smokey when he returned to us! Madison is absolutely awesome in being the liaison and such a good listener! Thanks to CaliK9 we have a solid pathway for Smokey and we are on it!
