Calm on Command K9

WOW!! If I could give Calm on Command K9 100 stars, I would. We have a 100-pound rescue that was developing aggression issues. We have 2 other dogs, 2 kids and love to bring him everywhere, so this was becoming a HUGE problem. So, we sent him to Calm on Command for 5 weeks. We picked him up about 5 days ago.... and we are AMAZED!!!!!!!!!! I will share a single story here. Esp because of his situation, we were told to keep him on a leash until we have mastered working with him with the remote collar. The first (or second?) night home, it was pouring and freezing and 9pm, and I was lazy and let all of the dogs out for a 30 second pee while I stood in the doorway. At that moment, a delivery truck pulled up and our dog took off for it. I increased the collar intensity (normally at 5 out of 100 to about 30/100) and yelled "HERE!" In mid-stride, our dog turned around and ran to me inside. I then told him to "place" on a dog bed across the room, and he did it! Everything happened so fast, but I then walked outside to get the other dogs and our big dog stayed on his dog bed the whole time. Although he was at attention, he did not get up and did not bark. I did not expect him to place from such a distance at this stage esp when his adrenaline was up, and I did not expect him to stay on his bed at this stage when I was out of site. Since then, he has repeatedly amazed us with his responsiveness. I know that we will soon be able to truly trust him again, which is a life-changer for our family. Thank you, Rosie and RJ!!!!!

Rosie and RJ are the best. My dog, Rocko, had severe anxiety around bikes, strollers, and especially squirrels. We felt so helpless and decided to enroll Rocko in a bootcamp. It was so hard to give up Rocko for 4 whole weeks but it was totally worth it! He is so happy! RJ and Rosie posted constantly on IG so we could watch his progress. Seeing his impulses lessen, and his relationship with other animals grow, made my heart melt into a million pieces. I’m forever indebted to Rj & Rosie for their help and ongoing support to make sure Rocko is living his best life and that we are able to including him in more things in our life, including our upcoming wedding in May!

RJ and Rosie were fantastic to work with and the work they did with our dog, Vin, has done wonders! Vin went to bootcamp with RJ and Rosie with isolation anxiety and reactivity to other animals, both were severe enough that we were worried about being able to keep her. She is now able to stay calm while at home alone for the day and has shown far less reactivity. She also, through their training, now responds very well to commands. RJ and Rosie are super responsive and willing to provide support beyond bootcamp for any questions or issues. We cannot recommend Calm on Command more and are so thankful for what they have done for Vin!

I can't say enough good things about RJ & Rose. I was left with two Rottweilers after my son suddenly passed away. My daughter took Ruckus, a 13 year old male, home with her, but I had no immediate takers for Fitch, a young female. My son, Tommy, had acquired Fitch from a friend who was going to send her to the animal shelter because she had snapped at a child. My son, a lifelong Rottweiler lover, couldn't let that happen because he knew she'd be euthanized. He worked with Fitch for about 9 months before he passed. She never snipped at Tommy but was not so affectionate with visitors. She would snip at hands, not really biting, but never knowing what the potential could or would be. I found RJ & Rose after some internet searching and received a recommendation from the friend of a friend. They met Fitch at my son's home. We took her for a walk during the first meeting. At the 2nd meeting, they took her for a ride in their truck (something I would have been afraid to do). I saw how loving but firm they were with Fitch. They gave her the attention and structure she desperately needed. She walked on the treadmill, went to cafes, went on bike rides. We were amazed at her transformation. I saw RJ rub Fitch's face and kiss her on the head. Check out their Instagram page - there are lots of videos of Fitch - before and after. Aside from the tremendous training, I can't thank them enough for their support during an extremely difficult time. Fitch wasn't spayed, so they helped me take her to get spayed - all three times (that's another story). They even helped me find an amazing adoptive family for Fitch, providing training and support to the couple during Fitch's graduation. Fitch had a rough 2 1/2 years. She was crated for long periods of time before her original family gave her up. She lost the only loving owner she knew 9 months later. RJ & Rose gave her a chance to be the dog we knew she could be. Words cannot convey how excellent and pleased I am with Calm on Command K9’s boot camp. My 3 year old rescue had reactivity and biting issues and came back still the same dog. Walks are now enjoyable for both of us. I think the best endorsement I can give is I will be boarding my dog when I go on another trip in a few weeks because I know he will be in loving hands that will continue to positively reinforce all the progress he has made.
