Your dog leaves the setting of his or her past behavior to become immersed in our intensive calm on command lifestyle training program, twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. We are boutique and keep things small, so we can achieve optimal results. We service Maryland, Washington DC and beyond.

This review is long overdue. We sent our American Bulldog to RJ about a year ago, before my wife had our first baby. He is a rescue who had become very protective of us over the few years since we found him. He was so highly reactive with people and animals that we couldn’t have friends or family over without having to put him somewhere else. RJ worked with him for 6 weeks and since then our dog has been so much better! We have now been able to have him out when people come over to visit again, we can take him out with us in public, and he can finally be around other animals without us having to worry about having an issue. Keeping Bruce (our dog) trained is a work in progress and RJ is always there for us if we have questions. We also love them because they board here. It’s great because we can easily go on a trip and know we are leaving Bruce in great hands and somewhere we know he will get plenty of attention. RJ has also worked with Bruce with the vacuum and other things while he was being boarded, which was really helpful. Calm on Command has really been a lifesaver and we can’t recommend them enough!

Rosie and RJ are great. They are a calming presence for dogs and owners. At 66 yrs old although I already had a dog I inherited my sister's 110 lb Cane Corso, who though sweet, is stubborn and very strong. She has jerked the lead out of my hand to chase a dog. I was too nervous to walk her. Rosie and RJ are miracle workers. Walking with Ginger now, I'm still nervous because there are a lot of unleashed dogs in the area. Ginger I'd calm and unreactive and that calms me down. RJ and Rosie are very responsive and always eager to help iron out any issues. I highly recommend them.

RJ and Rosie were great with our Dog Joey and Daughter's Dog Lou. They did amazing training with them and were so great at communicating with us too so both the dogs and we had the tools to make is all successful. Can not overstate their kindness and clear love of the dogs!! Thank You!!!!

RJ is a dog whisperer. I rescued a pitbull out of one of the Virginia kennels and the poor guy had some pretty severe behavior problems that I found ever out about after taking him home. He had sporadic moments of aggression towards other people while on leash and overall just a bit temperamental. After several incidences I was ready to rehome the new pup. I found RJ online and sent him to the five weeks Boot Camp. Rubio, came back home a new dog and saved our relationship. I gave RJ and his company my highest recommendation.

We fell in love with our rescue dog Magic the minute we met her, and we knew she would be great company for Gracie our black lab. They bonded instantly and became inseparable. Unfortunately, Magic took protecting her family, both human and canine, to the extreme and after a few scary episodes with our neighbors' dogs, we knew we needed help. From the moment we spoke with Rosie and RJ on the phone, we knew we were in very capable hands. The emailed training program and homework, the in-person training sessions, and the daily Instagram updates confirmed that we made the right decision for ourselves and our dogs. We're all looking forward to future pack walks and maintaining our relationship and friendship. We would like to thank RJ and Rosie for giving us the opportunity to provide Magic and Gracie with the best possible home!
