FirstBarkWe just completed a 6-week puppy training course with Elizabeth Ashley. We think she is terrific. She did in person training with us in our home (masked and distanced) and it was well worth the cost of the sessions to have personalized one on one training for our rescue pup. She truly understands dogs, and answers all of our questions. We highly recommend her.

How long will it take to train my dog?
Length of time depends upon you, your dog, and your goals. In any one lesson, we can cover 1-3 topics over the course of an hour. You may wish to have multiple lessons on one topic. We subsequently also did some personal training for our other dog. Elizabeth was great with the dogs, reliable, knowledgeable and our dogs all love her. She also provided a lot of really good materials and videos to go along with the in-person sessions.

Going through the class with Elizabeth has really allowed him to blossom, and it has helped us learn how to teach him. Elizabeth was super helpful and provided individual attention during the class. We highly recommend her classes and will take the next one she offers!
I can’t say enough great things about Calvert Dog Academy. I worked with Elizabeth for my puppy, Penny, a yorkie. She was great. The program for families is comprehensive and easy to follow. I learned SO much and now understand the importance of reading a dog’s body language. Thank you for all you do to connect puppies and their owners into a working team!
Elizabeth is amazing! We had a foster dog, that at two years old, was all puppy! She helped us understand why he was doing the things he would do and gave us the tools to work with our foster dog. After one meeting with her, my husband and I noticed a night and day difference with our foster dog. She is very patient and knowledgeable. We can't say enough good things about her!
