Calvert Dog Training

My fiance and I adopted an 8 week old puppy and we had no clue how to properly train a puppy. It was challenging to find a trainer who was willing to work with us in-person during COVID. Luckily, we found a wonderful trainer named Elizabeth via Calvary Dog Academy. We love and support the company's philosophy (fear-free) She is valuable - she taught us so much. She also provided her wealth, knowledge, experience and shared her models. She also gave us a binder with a lot of information that we could read and review at any time. We saw a huge difference in our puppy from the first day training session to the last session. In addition, she is very communicative and would always be happy to respond to our emails frequently (bless her heart because we are the worried fur-parents here)! We highly recommend to get your dog trained through this company because it definitely has wonderful trainers like Elizabeth! We plan to reach out to her sometime in the future for here and there sessions.

Elizabeth worked with me and my dog Kendrick, who has impulse control and reactivity issues, and we found her to be compassionate, informative and very helpful. I'm very glad we were able to work with her in a class setting and we hope to continue working with her individually. She's a real professional and clearly cares deeply about dogs and their owners and how they can best experience the world together.

We had Elizabeth as an instructor for a group class for Reactive dogs. Our pup has improved dramatically thanks to the lessons and Elizabeth was always willing to answer all our questions during class as well as through email. We also worked with Elizabeth 1 on 1 to help introduce our dog to a family dog as they both have trouble meeting new pups, and they have gotten really far thanks to the techniques Elizabeth recommended.
