We can’t say enough great things about Shannon and the team at Canine Academy! Our dogs, Otis and Clyde, recently completed the Board and Train program and the transformation has been incredible. Shannon put so much time and care with them, and it shows. Otis was previously highly reactive and is now calm, focused and much more enjoyable to be around. We also opted to have an additional in-home training session with Shannon to ensure we were confident reinforcing the training in our own environment. This extra step made a big difference and gave us the peace of mind we needed. We’re so thankful for the patience, professionalism and support that Shannon provided. Highly recommend her and Canine Academy to anyone looking to build a better relationship with their dog!

They’re the best of the best! We had them trained and boarded here and they give exceptional care and training. We were gone on a 2 week trip and everyday we were not only sent updates, but photos as well, which made the separation a little easier to cope with! Super accommodating and just all around, you can tell they love what they do and genuinely care about doggos. My girl Golden won’t tolerate anyone else… even for daycare. They’re always so excited to come here and always smiling. One of their happy places! Which speaks volumes, especially since my male Golden Retriever has a bit of anxiety. He’s come such a long way though after his training… they really worked on confidence with him and now he’s our big protector! 🤎

I will only board and train my dog at Canine Academy. From start to finish, our experience has been exceptional. I truly appreciated that Zeke had his own stall while boarding—he's never crated at home, so knowing he had a comfortable space made all the difference. The team regularly sent me photos throughout the day, which gave me such peace of mind and confirmed he was in great hands. Our trainer, Alex, was absolutely phenomenal. We recently completed the Public Access Training, and I was blown away by the progress Zeke made under Alex’s guidance. Zeke is a 7-month-old Rottweiler puppy who’s growing rapidly and experiencing some significant growing pains. He was cleared for training by both his vet and physical therapist, who even recommended training to help build strength. Alex took everything at Zeke’s pace, balancing challenge with care, and it paid off tremendously. Zeke is eager to please, and thanks to the structured, compassionate training he received, he’s now thriving both in public and at home. He walks beautifully on a leash, listens to commands, and is much more socialized and confident. I now feel proud and at ease taking him out with me in different environments. I highly recommend Canine Academy and Alex in particular. They’ve earned my complete trust, and I’m so grateful for the foundation they’ve helped build for Zeke and me.

Canine Academy took my unconfident dog and tranformed her in a week. They have a very clean, spacious facility and fenced in training areas. I was very impressed with how open and honest they were with me about everything. They more than encouraged me to come have a look around before I signed on the dotted line, it was required. They spoke with me over the phone several times as well. The training didn't stop with my dog and that week. I am still in contact with Kayla, her trainer, and working to keep my dog on track. This program is for life and I wouldn't take my dogs anywhere else.
