Have your dog trained without any overnight boarding! Drop your dog off for daycare plus training in the mornings and take your dog home in the evenings. Your dog will be able to: wait at the door, sit, walk on a loose leash, come when called, place on an elevated object, and stop any unwanted behavior (off command). We will not board our dog anywhere else—we live downtown and it is well worth the extra drive time to bring our dog here. We get multiple photos per day of her on walks, playing with other dogs, and looking happy which we appreciate so much! Canine Academy goes above and beyond to make sure she’s well taken care of. We also love that she has plenty of room to sleep and isn’t crammed into a crate—we know she’s comfortable! The team is always reachable, responsive, and accommodating to our needs. Cannot say enough good things and highly recommend!!!

Cannot say enough good things about Canine Academy! Worth. Every. Penny! My only regret is that we should have done it sooner! Shannon has been beyond fabulous and proved that our high energy 4-year old dog is/was trainable. Night and day difference and we couldn’t be happier. If you are thinking about Canine Academy, just do it-you will be so glad you did!!!

I can’t say enough good things about Alex! He worked with my 10-month-old German Shepherd, Oso—an incredibly high-energy, prey-driven pup with very little impulse control. From the moment Oso met Alex, it was love at first sight, and after just 7 days in the Board and Train program, he came home a noticeably calmer, more focused dog.
One of the biggest improvements (and worth the price alone!) is Oso's ability to stay in position until I give a release command. He no longer jumps up on counters or bolts after distractions. The off command Alex taught Oso works like a charm in so many situations. I’m beyond impressed.
I’ll admit I was a little nervous trusting someone with my boy for over a week, but Alex and the Care Team went above and beyond. Their daily updates with pictures and videos completely put my mind at ease.
Yes, it was an investment—but one in Oso’s future. With Alex’s ongoing support and guidance as I continue to work with Oso, I’m confident Oso will continue growing into a well-mannered, happy doggy citizen. I’m so pleased with the results that I’m already planning to enroll my 5-month-old Golden Retriever in the program with Alex once she’s ready!

The trainers at Canine Academy, Alex and Jacey, worked wonders with our dog, Tommy Boy! Tommy is a 5-year-old, very strong American Bully, and I never thought I’d be able to take him for a walk. My husband was the only one who could walk him, but he had his hands full. Tommy would often get reactive towards other dogs, dragging my husband down the street and even causing him to trip a few times.
After Alex and Jacey worked with Tommy, the transformation has been incredible. He is now a true gentleman on walks—no longer pulling on the leash—and his reactivity has improved tremendously. Tommy listens to all commands and behaves so much better. We're beyond grateful for the progress they helped Tommy achieve!
