I have a different dog. Mikayla was able to work a miracle! I could not walk my dog without fear of being pulled to the ground or having him get into a fight with another dog. Henry was so bad that I had to buy a harness with two handles to be able to put him in air jail when he got out of control. Now Henry can walk on a 6 foot leash; is not compelled to chase everybody he sees; aAnd understands that dogs on leashes are no threat to him. Truly this has been life changing for both of us.

As we approach the one year anniversary of life with our munchkin bernadoodle, Miley, I want to share the best decision that we could have ever made when we chose to add another furry member to our family. WOW, best decision ever to start immediately building our knowledge on how to work with a puppy. Each lesson builds upon the next, and after each visit, Mikayla sent Lesson Recap emails which also included helpful videos. Between the lessons, Mikayla was always available by text, email, or phone call if you had any questions, and she checked in with us often. Miley warmed up to Mikayla so quickly, and it was clear right away that Mikayla truly loves the dogs in her program. She provides boarding for her clients (Miley is crate trained, and that is important and necessary for boarding) and Miley absolutely loves every time she visits. One of the most awesome tools that Miley learned is the “place”command. This was something we never knew existed before Mikayla taught us ALL. Please see the pictures with Miley on her little cot! It is a lifesaver, and you will be so thankful to learn this! Once Miley was over 8 months old, we chose to send her to Mikayla’s Board and Train program for off leash, e-collar training. It really helped with her heel and some of her behavioral issues as well, and Miley has become a really fun dog that we can trust as we walk daily on trails and enjoy going on longer hikes. Mikayla has been helping us with Rodger since he was 12 weeks. Rodger showed very early signs of reactivity which after 2 weeks of board and train have (almost) completely resolved! At only 6’months he has great recall, place, wait and has l come so far with his leash reactivity that I can enjoy walks at wash park( if you live in Denver you know how crazy it can be there). We couldn’t be more grateful for her help and can’t wait to see how training progresses. Mikayla was communicative, knowledgeable and so kind through our process.
