Canine confidence was recommended to me by a friend and I’m so glad because Mike was so helpful! I adopted a dog when she was a puppy and she never was the most social with other dogs and could sometimes be scared, but now that she’s gotten older (10) she’s actually become aggressive. She’s even been barking and growling at people who come to house, people she’s met many times before. Mike and his other dogs like Ajax, have helped so much in making my dog become more comfortable and less reactive around dogs and people. Mike pointed out triggers and gave tips to on how to distract her so that ziggy (and me) are less anxious. They have such a great set up with many dogs and to help promote positive play. My dog looked like she was having fun playing with another dog, which I haven’t seen in a while! I really appreciated how flexible and accommodating the canine confidence center was with my irregular work schedule. Cannot recommend enough!

She is a rescue who was abandoned and has needed opportunities to help her gain more confidence and learn to be a really good dog. She gets all those opportunities at Canine Confidence Center. She especially loves his agility courses. She is always happy to go to Mikes and gets so excited to see him which makes me happy. Anyone considering training with Mike should know that he is extremely dedicated to the dogs he works with and you will learn a lot from his training program. Thank you Mike for helping Luna become truly awesome.

Mike at Canine Confidence Center is great and helped our dog significantly. Our dog Vail a husky mix is a very sweet dog, but she’s full of energy and very excitable. She had a serious leash pulling issue and would get too excited when people came over and with our little kids. After sending her to Mike for training as well as boarding for a short time she learned to get rid of both of those habits. Mike really “cultivated the calm” in Vail and she is much more well behaved and only gets excited at appropriate times. I can’t say enough good things about our experience with Canine Confidence Center 10/10 recommend for all of your dog training and boarding needs. Thanks for everything Mike!!!
