I was tired of my husky always running away during hikes. I had seen ads for Canine Confidence Center several times so I decided to reach out for help. I had seen that they can help me train my baby Shelby to do off leash recall. Even though the trip to Westchester is kinda far from where I live, it ended up being worth it. I loved the land and all the space to practice off leash recall for Shelby. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Mike did a great job training my dog. Not only is he more playful, but I can now trust him around my 1.5 year old. The setup at Canine Confidence Center is really impressive and I knew my dog would be well cared for while there!

I can’t say enough about how wonderful Mike Malan and his Canine Confidence Center is for helping dogs find their own confidence through learning positive boundaries via fun, fun, fun! In a blink of an eye I’ve seen Mike transform dogs who are fearful, anxious, timid even aggressive into relaxed, playful dogs. They begin to realize “hey, I can be a dog and enjoy it!” Mike, you rock, keep up the good work!

Cannot recommend Mikey and the Canine Confidence Center enough! We came up from Westchester to see the facility and were so impressed. We have a very anxious dog, and Mikey did an amazing job helping to her, while also putting my mind at ease boarding her there for a few days!

I recently brought my Rottweiler puppy to the Canine Confidence Center, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results. My puppy had a habit of pulling on the leash, which made our walks quite challenging. However, Mike, the trainer at the Canine Confidence Center, was incredibly knowledgeable and patient.
Mike took the time to understand my puppy’s behavior and showed me effective techniques to manage and correct the leash pulling. The hands-on training sessions were very informative, and I appreciated how Mike worked directly with my puppy to reinforce the lessons.
Thanks to Mike’s expertise, my puppy is now much more manageable on walks, and our bond has grown stronger. I highly recommend the Canine Confidence Center to anyone looking for professional and compassionate dog training services.
