Canine Connection specializes in the emotional wall being of dogs. They rotate the dogs between rest time and play time in groups and have 24hr human supervision on site. They also figure out the environment each dog prefers: couch, office, chair, crate, kennel, etc. So it’s not the least expensive boarding option in town. It’s also not automatic. They will want to meet your dog and see how it interacts with other dogs before you make a reservation.

We attended Puppy Kindergarten and it was a great class. We have done puppy training through CARD and another trainer in a small group with our previous class. The class size is very reasonable (8 dogs) in a spread out room. If dogs have specific needs and behaviors they need help with their needs are well met. A great example of this is my dog was overly interested in the other dogs so we had a screened off area to help her not be so overwhelmed. Other dogs were shy and got similar treatment but perhaps not visually screened off or to different degrees. If you and your dog are having some challenges with the behavior you are learning you get some one on one help. Each class had at least 2 trainers. It's all positive reinforcement, no pinch or slip collars which is great.
The training is excellent and the trainer’s are very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. The training facility is always clean and very dog friendly. Deb and Anna are the trainers I have worked with the most so far and they are very knowledgeable and keep the classes fun for both the dogs and their parents. I can’t say enough good about the training program or Canine Connection as a whole.

I attended Puppy Social hour and found this experience to be really impressive. I rarely write reviews, but in this case I'm very compelled to do so. The class itself was structured, educational and so fun for the pups, but the most amazing part was the staff. They all were personable, professional, knowledgeable and you can really tell they love what they do. They have a caring and patient approach and have a clear passion to canine care. Would recommend this facility for all levels of training/care.
They helped create a stronger bond with our dog. We learned techniques that worked. We feel like better dog trainers and owners after taking our classes.
