We founded Canine Country Academy in order to improve relationships between dogs and owners. We strive to show you and your dog how to better relate to one another using respect, communication and cooperation. Utilizing only positive reinforcement training methods, you and your dog will be treated with kindness, compassion and understanding.

Even if you’re super confident dog trainer, I highly suggest going just to see a broken down into such small digestible pieces and be able to see from a different perspective as they definitely take what the dog is thinking into consideration. She is very aware of behavior the whole time and gives each dog what it needs. I look forward to taking more classes in the future.

My dog Luna is incredibly smart, but she has been a bit of a challenge lately, especially as I have a schedule change for work. We were able to arrange a private lesson to get a plan for how to help her and keep our sanity at the same time! Rachel Emery was amazing! She really met all of us where we are. She was able to come up with a variety of tools to use to help Luna with her need for mental stimulation and for the humans in the house not to go bonkers at night! Totally recommend them for all your needs... especially if you are blessed with a dog who might just be smarter than you are!

I had a private appointment with Rachel Emery to dissect my dog River’s and my issues with NW2 containers. Rachel observed behaviors from both me and River that will help us be more successful in the future. It was a great experience. I hope to work in another time prior to the trial.

This place is hands down the best! We started with one dog about 9 months ago, and now have multiple dogs doing canine sports!
Really helped build conferences and better behavior in our puppers, while having fun. Only wish we'd started sooner!!!
