Canine Initiative Training

A neighbor recommended CIT to me to help with my newest rescue. My trainer, Marianna has really helped address the issues I need for my new pup to be successful. I really like how she demonstrates with my pup the skill and then has me do the same skill. She has been so kind and very informative on all things related to my pup. When the doorbell rings on Tuesday, Kirby is excited to greet Marianna!!

We currently have our (aggressive) 2 year old husky in training with Mariana and we absolutely love it! We’ve only done 3 sessions but we’ve already learned so many news skills and techniques on how to go about our pup’s aggression. At first, I was super anxious and worried about the training, but Mariana handled everything so calmly and has made me way less anxious! She’s truly changed my perspective on so much and has given me hope with our husky. If I ever have any questions or concerns, she breaks things down and explains everything thoroughly. Highly recommend!

We are so thankful for CIT and especially our trainer, Marianna. I have older dogs (6yrs old) and one of my dogs was really struggling and acting out since we moved to a new home. Now he is so happy and stress free again. We have been working on some manners also and I am so impressed with my dog's behavior. Marianna definitely knows what she's doing and has become one of my dog's favorite people!!!

Count on the Canine Initiative team for professional and trustworthy service. These guys know dogs and dog care like experts. Our dog was trained by Hannah who is pumped up and all action and excitement when it comes to puppy training. Jill Saner is amazing at admin support and was always prompt and clear with her communication. We had a great experience working with CIT and our dog loved learning with Hannah. Hats off to Will for managing such a professional outfit.

We adopted our Nova, a one year old staffy mix, from the humane society. We learned he was a rescue from Louisiana when hurricane Ida came through and their shelter was flooded. We dont know his background and upon bringing him home we discovered he was very rambunctious with no self control. He didn't understand boundaries and constantly wanted attention. Hubby searched and found CIT. We were matched with Mariana who from the initial meeting we could tell truly loves what she does. Mariana explained why Nova probably acted the way he did, what the training would entail, asked what we would like Nova to learn, told us what was expected of us with an honest timeline of what his behavior improvement would be. Nova learned so much from her and we are forever grateful for what she did for him and our family. He settled down, understands his commands like place, wait, sit, down, heel, etc and the family is much more relaxed now. You can tell Nova loves her and she loves him just as much.
