I had just bought a 2 month old havanese. Once her shots were done we were actively looking for a 2 week board and train option in Feb/March 2020. She was getting out of control - barking , running around , not listening to us and did not know to stay calm. She was a hyper puppy and a first time dog owner, we had no clue either. I had gone to multiple places and was horrified at how the puppies were crates and stacked in a single dark room with so many other puppies and dogs , most of them barking. I was looking for a place where Millie will train just like home. I came across Canine Solutions on a google search. My first call with Keisha and Val was filled with information and she answered all my questions and concerns. We setup a meeting to meet in person and I went prepared to leave Millie with her if everything went well. During the tour of the house, I loved the fact that Millie would be in her house and had reasonable access in the house and their backyard. She had her crate in the room with Charlie. Charlie was an instant trainer. Charlie was already teaching Millie. Needless to stay, I left Millie with them for 2 weeks. During training, they constantly provided videos and pics. They also socialized her way better than I would have done. Millie has responded very well to training. She is a much better and well trained puppy. She does sit , down, stay , leave it , drop it , fetch. Her barking is now purposeful - either to pee/poop or wants to go out of her crate or something/someone is around the house. When doing nothing, she knows to stay calm and settle quietly. During COVID, since we are all at home, she curls up under my feet. She stays there quietly or stays in her crate which is in the same room while I am on work conference calls. Overall, a great experience and highly recommend.

Wow! I can’t say enough good things about Valerie and Keisha!! I have a doodle who is a puppy mill rescue and had horrible anxiety. These guys worked miracles!! I cannot believe the progress she made here. I did the board and train option and it was definitely the best decision I’ve ever made for my dog Rhea. I don’t think another trainer group could have done with for Rhea and I’m forever grateful! I’d recommend these guys millions times over and tell everyone I know! I now get to enjoy everything about my dog now. And it feels amazing! Best training service! Do the board and train option, you will not be disappointed. I got text updates everyday and it was the best experience!

I contacted Valerie to inquire about some in-home training for our dog. When I spoke to her on the phone she was very knowledgable and friendly. I was very excited about having her help us address some issues we were having with our dog. We set an appointment for the next Saturday evening to have her come to our house, meet our dog and make a plan about training. The day before our appointment I texted her to confirm that she would make our appointment for the next evening. I never heard back. The next afternoon I called her and left her a voicemail, again to try to confirm that she would make the appointment we had scheduled for that evening, but I didn’t hear from her. Our appointment time came and went, but Valerie never showed up, texted or called. It’s been a week since then and I still haven’t heard anything from her. I’m extremely disappointed and feel that it was very unprofessional to just not show up for a scheduled appointment and to never reach out to explain or attempt to reschedule. She has great reviews, which is why I contacted her for training, but unfortunately I didn’t get the same experience as others.
