Canine State of Mind

I cannot say enough good things about Canine State of Mind and Sasha! I boarded both of my dogs for a short stay as a trial, since they have never been boarded before. I had such a great experience with Sasha, and her understanding that it was their first time boarding. She kept me updated, sent pictures, and is a please to work with. We recently boarded them for a longer stay of almost three weeks. It's great to have that peace of mind knowing my dogs are doing fine and I can check in on them anytime. The best part is that the dogs get freedom with outdoor time, rather than being in a facility with cages. Our dog Orso has boarded on Sasha's farm a handful of times and LOVES his farm vacations! We are happy that he is able to roam in open green space with other dog friends. Sasha is a true gem and we are so lucky we found her. Canine State of Mind is the only place we trust for boarding for extended stays. Our minds are at ease knowing he is cared for while our family is on our own vacation. Sasha is so in tuned with canine behavior and can quickly assess what they may need. I highly recommend Canine State of Mind and bonus that there is a shuttle to pick up your pooch in the city.

We sent our young puppy to Sasha (3 months old), which experts say is usually too young, for a multi week boarding and training experience. She did a phenomenal job teaching him how to be social with other dogs, how to respond to body language and use it himself. His puppy anxiety is really low (he is a high energy breed), and we attribute that to her techniques of helping develop a confident vs confused and hence stressed dog. It was well worth it, helping get the foundation for our puppy and his development right.
