I love training at CFDTC! It’s a 2 hour drive for me to attend competition obedience classes and I gladly make the trek because of the high quality instruction and friendly atmosphere. Everyone is very supportive. It’s a great place to learn and very welcoming of folks new to competitive obedience or those just wanting to train a pet. I highly recommend training here.
I have been training at this club for years and find the instructors to be very knowledgeable and the members always willing to help. It us a wonderful place to work with your dog.

I have been taking my Belgian Malinois here for training and obedience trials for over a year now. Instructors are very knowledgeable and professional. Everyone is always very welcoming and friendly! A reviewer by the name of Amber left a one-star review about a confrontation with one of the instructors. I witnessed this confrontation myself and I can say that her review is extremely exaggerated, and she was respectfully informed that this was a private event and the building was reserved for paid participants that weekend. She had to be informed a couple times before she stormed out the door. Also there is a sign right at the entrance she drove through that says “Cape Fear Dog Training Club.” This is a great place to come and train with your dog. I have not once had a bad experience here.
This club is an incredible asset to this area. They do a superb job of hosting trials, seminars and the trainers are very skilled and accomplished. I highly recommend!
