We took our Springer Spaniel, Darla, to Elaine because we wanted Darla to not counter-surf or jump on visitors or anyone. Darla is now a well trained 6 month old Springer, who stays on her place inside our home, goes on walks without pulling on her leash and doesn't jump on people. We can now eat dinner without putting Darla in her crate. My wife and have worked hard to learn how to be Darla's parents. We could not have approached where we are today without Elaine. We are very happy we were able have Darla trained by Elaine. Would absolutely do it again.

We took our 8-month-old Goldendoodle, Sam, to Elaine for two weeks of residency training, and he came back a different dog. She also gave us three extremely helpful family training sessions after residency and has been easily accessible for follow-up questions. Before training, Sam was nipping a lot, pulling constantly on leash, and generally ignoring boundaries; we were skeptical that the training would really accomplish much. We just hoped that he would come home with a few helpful commands and that we’d be able to successfully correct him from time to time. But the result was so much more than that! At home, he waits for our permission before roaming the house, he sits patiently as we prepare his meal, and he does not bite. Outside, I usually walk him OFF leash and he heels patiently. We also have the freedom to let him run free in the yard and trust that he will return to us when we call him. All of this makes him a more loving part of our family, but he also gets the freedom to explore and play like a dog should. Our neighbors now refer to Sam as the “best-behaved dog on the block” and ask if we’ll train their pups next. But we have to give Elaine all the credit; we’re just doing what she told us to.

We have a 4 year old Aussie doodle who was sweet but we weren’t enjoying him because he dragged us down the street, lunged and barked at other dogs, and swiped things off the counter constantly. If this sounds like your dog, PAY THIS MONEY. It seems like a lot, but your dog will be transformed and you and the dog will be infinitely happier. Elaine understands dogs and she knows how to teach people. Her techniques work because she is able to communicate them to the dog and to their people. Sometimes you should be wary when a business has all 5 star reviews, but this time it’s very well deserved.
