Our residency programs are a favorite solution for dog owners who either don't have the time to devote to the daily dog training process and who would rather have Carolina Dog Training, LLC do the "heavy lifting" regarding establishing a training foundation that subsequently only has to be maintained after your dog has already been Trained by Elaine™. Additionally, this unique program is ideal for dogs lacking healthy social skills with other dogs. Since your dog will be integrated into our balanced pack, he or she will learn the joy and peace of being a cooperative member of the group.

For owners who have the time and desire to commit to taking an active role in the dog training process, consider in home dog training. Carolina Dog Training, LLC will train you and your dog in the familiar environment of your own home and neighborhood, including local hot spots! Pet stores, greenways, and dog walking sites are a few good examples where we will work together to achieve a customized list of your goals.

Carolina Dog Training, LLC can assist you in the process of becoming a Pet Partner Therapy Animal Team as well as provide the necessary training for your dog to attain the basic obedience skills required to pass the Team Evaluation! The latest research shows that the Human-Animal Bond through Animal Assisted Therapy comes with a whole host of benefits: • A therapy dog has a positive effect on patients’ pain level and satisfaction with their hospital stay. • The presence of an animal can significantly increase positive social behaviors among adults and children alike. • Pet Partner Teams Volunteer in schools, libraries, hospitals, nursing homes, and many other venues.

What a wonderful experience from day one. We knew our rescue pit mix pup was super smart but she was out of control with rough play and demanding attention. After two weeks with Elaine she is in control of her energy and looks to us, her pack leaders, for direction. We are confident we can take her anyplace and even off leash she follows her commands like the champ we knew she could be. Thank you Elaine for your continued guidance and advice as we continue to learn.
The work that Elaine did with me and Gus has been life-changing. I didn’t know how to get him started and provide direction in a way he could understand. Our walks are awesome now — I can take him everywhere and he is a happy, happy boy! This is one of the best investments I ever made!

10 months ago we welcomed two golden doodle sisters into our family. They were full of energy and fun loving. We had no clue how to tame or train these two pups. When Dolly and Pippa returned from residency training with Elaine they were just as fun loving, but well behaved and obedient. Now we enjoy walking Dolly and Pippa instead of how they used to walk us. They stay on heel and are not distracted by other dogs, rabbits, squirrels or people. We often take Dolly and Pippa to public places and they turn heads everywhere we go. Whether it’s to Lowe’s, the pet store or to dine outside where they stay on their "place,” we receive lots of compliments on how well behaved they are. Part of the process was to not only train our dogs, but to teach us. We are so thankful to have found Elaine. She’s truly a miracle worker in training dogs and our dogs are so much more enjoyable and calm because they understand and know their boundaries. Thanks Elaine!
Elaine was so helpful with helping me learn how to work with my dog so she won't be leash reactive. I'm looking forward to watching the transformation and having easy walks with my dog!
