Our residency programs are a favorite solution for dog owners who either don't have the time to devote to the daily dog training process and who would rather have Carolina Dog Training, LLC do the "heavy lifting" regarding establishing a training foundation that subsequently only has to be maintained after your dog has already been Trained by Elaine™. Additionally, this unique program is ideal for dogs lacking healthy social skills with other dogs. Since your dog will be integrated into our balanced pack, he or she will learn the joy and peace of being a cooperative member of the group.

For owners who have the time and desire to commit to taking an active role in the dog training process, consider in home dog training. Carolina Dog Training, LLC will train you and your dog in the familiar environment of your own home and neighborhood, including local hot spots! Carolina Dog Training, LLC can assist you in the process of becoming a Pet Partner Therapy Animal Team as well as provide the necessary training for your dog to attain the basic obedience skills required to pass the Team Evaluation! Elaine’s program was life changing for us and Hazel especially with social activities like walks, runs, and visits. We learned what having your dog respect you truly looks like while also learning that your dog enjoys the structure just as much. Elaine is a consummate professional. She had Maxine's welfare at the center of our relationship. Maxine was 8 months old when she meant Elaine. She was a pretty wild, undisciplined puppy! Elaine was so organized, disciplined and loving with her. She was really a different puppy after her 2-weeks of Carolina Dog Training camp with Elaine.She is now a pleasure to walk with, no weaving here and there in front of me. She knows commands of sit, wait at thresholds, come, down, stay and "place" on her cot.
I think most importantly is that Elaine taught me to be a serious, strong leader for Maxine. She worked with me on my body language and my verbal commands and how they affected Maxine's responses. I gained confidence in helping Maxine continue her journey of learning good behavior. For this I will always be grateful!
