We are located 10 to 15 minutes West of Hartselle, AL. in the Danville, Neel area. We offer proven Champion Field Golden Retriever breeding's that align with the GRCA (Golden Retriever of America) standard for breeding. Our breeding age dogs have proven Champion titles & pedigrees. OFA certifications on eyes, Advanced Cardiac, Hips and Elbows along with Genetic testing. We offer APDT certified professional Obedience Training & Retriever/Gundog Training. We have a competitive training program for those interested in building a champion retriever. We have over 25 years working and building the Golden Retriever breed and years of knowledge with various breeds to help you build your next companion, hunting partner or champion level retriever.

We sent our golden retriever to Colter because she was quite unruly. Our kids couldn’t even interact with her because she was constantly jumping on them or tackling them. She wouldn’t listen to a single command. We got her in hopes to have keep her inside 24/7, but her behavior made it impossible. As a last resort, we reached out to Colter for help. She’s been back a few days now and the results are honestly astounding. She’s a completely different dog. She has yet to jump on my kids or tackle them. She has followed almost all commands given and is easily living her best life inside. It’s the best money we’ve spent and it just so happened to be super affordable compared to other trainers we got quotes from. You can tell he loves these dogs and takes pride in his work. I’d use him again for any future training needs.

I fully recommend anybody that is considering Colter at least give him a call and discuss with him. We had zero regrets or concerns working with him. Very good job. We have only had positive results in our discovery of Castle House Kennels! After meeting with Colter for the first time, we knew that we had been blessed ! We knew right away that we were at the right place! From our first meeting, then next to helping us pick the perfect puppy for us, (Ruby from 2023 litter) …through Ruby’s training and events.. to now, Colter has been, and continues to be consistently supportive in our raising Ruby ! We are grateful in knowing that Colter loves Ruby… and every other dog that we’ve ever seen him handle!! He truly has an amazing gift, and we are amazed by how much that he has managed to teach Ruby so far! He really does know what he’s doing, and he does with a loving humble heart, and always..… with a smile!🙂
