I had an excellent experience with Cave Creek K9. I brought my 2.5 year old Golden Retriever in for the 3 week board and train. My dog, Ryder, had some behavioral and aggressive leash issues which made our walks very stressful. After his training and 3 follow-up lessons with me I am now able to confidently walk him along side of me at a perfect heel which makes walking him so much more enjoyable for both of us.
It is evident how much Rodd cared about my dog and his success. He would send me updates with pictures and videos throughout his training. Rodd’s expertise, dedication and genuine care has been truly remarkable. I am so grateful to have a well-mannered and obedient dog and for finding such a phenomenal trainer.

Our experience at Cave Creek K9 was great! Rodd helped us with our golden doodle puppy, who is a handful. We did the one week board and train for puppies. Our little a handful back to us markedly on his way to becoming a wonderfully trained dog. Great experience for us and our dog!

Rodd transformed our rescue pit, Maui, into our well behaved girl. She was known at the shelter as an escape artist. After boot camp with Rodd she obeys commands and is able to run free to chase balls and comes right back to us. Rodd is loving and affectionate while training. Maui loves him. In my opinion he’s a “dog whisperer!

Cave Creek K9 is the pinnacle of dog training. My wife and I got our puppy Lulu and needed a trusted source to ensure she was trained and well mannered. We have sent her to Rodd for 4 weeks in total and can't begin to state the value we have received. She walks like a champ right at our side, has great recall, will go to her place when we tell her, and so much more. I truly believe if we didn't get her this and if we didn't invest n the best, we would have had to pay triple down the road for half the result. Rodd and his team are incredible and they love our girl Lulu. I've sent numerous people to Cave Creek K9 now including extremely trusted colleagues and some of my professional athletes I train. With our first family dog and having small children we wanted to make sure we had a well behaved and trained dog. After trying another trainer with no results we were referred to Cave Creek K9. It has been a great experience and the professional training and improvement we have seen is worth the investment. If your want the best, use Cave Creek K9.
