We love Gabe and his work. We got our sweet mal from a different breeder as I didn’t find him till after the fact. But he is working with us with Molly for basic obedience and commands, as well as protection. He has been amazing with answering all our questions and at 12 weeks old we just now have been training for a month and I can’t wait to see what all she becomes because already her basic commands caught on within days.. our whole family is involved both us and our 4 kids. I recommend him to anyone who asks me where to go.. you won’t be disappointed and the part that I like the best is the cost is something we can afford.. as a single income as my party time hrs aren’t a set thing making sure we could afford her training was huge hands down the most affordable best quality of work and kindness you can get…

I work with Gabe and each dog/owner (protection level). Gabe takes his time to address each dog's needs. Gabe is one of a kind. Dogs who have social/emotional issues, Gabe can connect with the dog and bring them to a level that the dog and owner can see eye-to-eye. I've never seen anything like it. I would highly recommend CGS K9 to anyone seeking to teach their dog basic commands or teach them how to protect the family!

I now own 2 dogs from Gabe. He is an absolute Wonderful trainer and understands dogs on an almost super human level. I have seen him take dogs with multiple different issues and work diligently with them. He works in unison with the animal and the owner to overcome any behavioral problem! Jen had a fantastic grooming session with both my girls and they were so soft, clean, and smelled amazing when she was done with them!

I do not recommend these services for boarding. We went to Canada for a week. Our schnauzer was just diagnosed with diabetes before we left but our vet told us to go on the trip and put her on a special dog food to help bring her sugar down . We were to bring her back to his office to be rechecked when we got back. You have to drop off your dog to be boarded at 4:30 pm and pick up at same time. My husband texted Gabe from Canada and told him to have his daughter text me how Bella was doing. I never received any texts. We had to wait until 4:30 pm yesterday (10/5/23) to pick her up per their rules. We were shocked to see her. She had lost weight and was lethargic. She didn't even greet us like she usually does. Gabe told us she hadn't been eating her dog food only her milk bones and cheese to give her medication with. He said she ran out of her pain pills the previous weekend. This was a Thursday She threw up bile in his driveway. She could hardly walk, she was weak. We left with her, called the vet at 4:45. Took her by Dr. Links office. Her blood sugar was off the chart. He gave her insulin and told us to try to get her to eat in an hour. Took her home she kept vomiting and had black bloody stools. We then took her to the emergency pet/ trauma hospital in Kannapolis. Her breathing was worse when we got there. The vet there examined her and came to talk with us. Told us she was critically ill and we needed to make a decision about whether to treat her diabetes or euthanasia due to her having a cancerous tumor of her right leg that was diagnosed a year ago. We decided on euthanasia because we didn't want her to suffer anymore. If we had been notified about how sick she was we could have flown back from Canada. Anyone boarding a dog should be able to recognize signs of illness and call the owners to see what they want done We are heartbroken to think that our baby suffered more because we had no idea she had gotten so sick.
