We sent our miniature schnauzer, Snowball, to Charlie Bar Dog Training while we were on vacation, and it was the best decision ever! She used to bark at people, had poor leash manners, and was reactive to the doorbell and strangers at home. After three weeks of “finishing school,” she came back calm, confident, and easy to communicate with. Now we can take her to the farmers market, out to eat on patios, and even to the dog park without any issues. The trainers also taught our whole family how to keep up the training, which has made a huge difference. We’re so grateful for the team at Charlie Bar — highly recommend them!

I am so impressed with the training!! My dog has always been reactive to people and dogs. We went out to a place with dogs, people AND food and my dog was focused on Ricardo and me. He is really clear in what you need to do so your dog understands what is being asked of it. And his analogies are so great! He relates everything to a human experience so it's way more clear what our actions are showing the dog, both positive and negative. I left my session super confident I have the tools needed and was able to practice them until I was comfortable.

Ricardo is amazing! I scheduled a private session with him for my new dog Jemma. In that one session Ricardo laid the foundation to train any wanted/unwanted behavior. I IMMEDIATELY saw a difference in Jemma. Within days of the session she is SO MUCH BETTER: No pulling on the leash. No charging the door. No jumping on people. She responds quickly to a verbal warning when needed. Amazing. Just Amazing. Don't question whether you should schedule with CharlieBar/Ricardo. Do it!!!

OMG!!! We’re have 3 female pups- 4 year old hound, 2 year old heeler mix, and 1 year old shepherd. The hound had been abused and the heeler and shepherd we took to avoid from going to a shelter. They were so unsocialized, anxious, and impulsive. After 1 too many dog fights - we found Charlie Bar!!! Godsend!!!! The hound and heeler spent 3 weeks with them- and came back different pups. My sweet hound is happy and playful again, and they are all getting along and following basic commands that are life-changers! I would not believe the change if I didn’t see it myself! I’m so grateful!! I couldn’t give up on these dogs - they just needed some confidence and time that I just didn’t have each day. Now I get to maintain with a few short sessions a day! My heart is full, and we owe it all to Ricky and his amazing team! Shout out to Amaya for loving my hound!!!

We have a 501C-3 Non-profit Rescue We sent very aggressive dog to Charlie Bar Dog Boarding and Training He did miracles within a week. The dog no longer tried attacking my husband, and any children that might be passing Duke has since been adopted and lives happily with his mom, wh I'm daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter share her property. They all adore Duke. I highly recommend Charlie Bar Dog Boarding and Training. He gets into the mind and heart of your dog.
