Clickstart Dog Training Academy

My dog Kya and I had an absolutely phenomenal experience with Clickstart Training! Our journey with Cassie has been incredible - from the online Reactive Rover classes to the in-person training sessions. Cassie helped me feel equipped to handle Kya’s leash reactivity, and she really helped Kya and I both gain so much more confidence on walks. Kya’s improvement since joining Clickstart Academy has been amazing to watch, and I would like to give a huge thank you to Cassie for all of her time, patience, and dedication to fostering such a safe space for Kya to train and work through her triggers. Cassie’s compassion for dogs really reflects through her work, and Kya and I are very happy to have found Clickstart Academy :) Kya and I highly recommend bringing your dog here for all sorts of training!

I can't say enough good things about the trainers at Clickstart! We started with their puppy classes. They keep the class size small so get a lot of feedback. They sanitize everything for their puppy classes and make sure they interact safely. I learned SO much about dog body language from these classes and it really helped Pepper's confidence. Later we were having issues with dog reactivity (she wanted to play with EVERY single dog she saw and would bark like crazy) so we signed up for their Academy days. We dropped her off twice a week for 3 hours. They worked with her on campus and out in public. After each session they send a detailed summary with pictures, videos, and worksheets on how to continue training at home. At the end of our 12 sessions, we now enjoy our walks and even get compliments on her good behavior! Clickstart also helped us with desensitizing nail trims and fostering a good relationship between our dog and cat. The only thing I regret is not doing the academy days sooner! The one on one time with a trainer is really invaluable if you're struggling at home and is much more affordable than the board and train programs that other places offer.
