Our dog, Archie, always comes home happy, well-exercised, and even a little spoiled from all the love and attention he receives. The regular updates and photos give me peace of mind while I'm away. Kristy goes above and beyond to create a safe and fun environment for all her furry guests.

Kristy and her family have been a godsend to my 2 senior babies. There is no one else on the coast I would trust to care for them! She treats them like family and spoils them just like they are her own! You will not have a care or worry when they are in the care of close to home!

My boy, Jase, is an older dog that loves and also deserves attention!! When I shared his breed with Kristi, over the phone, she knew immediately why I called him Jase ‘Velcro’. We laughed and the rest is history! She boarded him, loved on him, sent pictures of him, and treated him as her own. What more can you ask? A true HOME AWAY FROM HOME for our FUR BABY! THANK YOU! 🤗

Kristy and family did a great job taking care of our elderly Westie. She's been intimidated in the past with large kennel situations and this setting was perfect for her. She's a happy girl and we will surely bring her there for more doggie vacations in the future!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Kristy and Close To Home. As a dog mom, one of the biggest stressors when I move to a new state is finding someone I completely trust with my 3 wonderfully finicky kiddos. I found Kristy almost immediately, and 9 months later and multiple stays, I am so thankful! She absolutely treats my dogs as if they’re her own. I get frequent updates and pictures when they’re in her care. It is the most comforting feeling knowing that my dogs are in great hands. My dogs have an amazing time when they are with her, and get so excited when it’s time to load up in the car because they know exactly where they’re going. Thank you for all you do!
