FirstBarkThe absolute best dog lover you’ll find. They sent daily updates on my girl even when I was on a cruise ship and didn’t have cell service. All the photos and videos I received once I was back were so sweet. I’m grateful to know my girl will always be loved on, allowed to play and socialize and also taught how to behave whenever I leave town 🤍.

Love, Love, Love!!! We had such a wonderful experience with them watching our dog. She came back to us very happy and healthy! It was so nice knowing she was being loved on and cared for at ALL hours of the day. The facility was darling and well kept and very comfortable for our dog. She was able to play and move around and was never kept in a cage all day. It was comforting getting photos and updates about her as well! We are so grateful we found Kristy 💕
I highly recommend Close to Home!! Kristi was so nice, accommodating and professional! She made Ellie at ease immediately and Ellie quickly made herself at home. They treated her like their own and provided daily texts, pictures, or videos. If possible, I think Ellie was more spoiled when I picked her up than when I dropped her off. I will definitely board with them again!!
We had a wonderful experience with Close to Home!! Our dogs were very well taken care of and loved. It was such a comfort to know they were in such great hands! There was daily communication and we really loved that! Will definitely be using their services again!!

We were in town on July 4th weekend for my daughter’s softball tournament and the hotel didn’t allow dogs. We found Kristy from Close to Home in a google search. We didn’t know what to expect but the prices were great and it seemed like our dog would be ok. Man! She was more than ok, Kristy went above and beyond in taking care of our dog. She made sure she had her meds, took her on walks, comforted her during all the fireworks, and sent daily pictures and updates. She had a big yard to run around in, and since they only take so many dogs at a time, it gave us peace of mind she would be safe and the amount of dogs would be easy to manage. What a great experience. I just wish we had someone like Kristy every time we left town.
