I absolutely 100% recommend Coaching 4 Paws to anyone looking for dog training or any other services!!! I have a 15 month old pit/lab puppy that I needed a lot help and guidance with. I previously had a very negative experience with another dog trainer/board and train program. I was very nervous going into this as it was my second time in a year having him go into a program. Right off the bat, I expressed all of my concerns and everything that I had a worry about. Since the first phone call with Coaching 4 Paws I knew I was bringing him to the right place. Over his 3 week board and train program, they completely changed my mindset on dog training. Coach Caroline is absolutely amazing, as well as the other staff that was working with my dog and me. You can tell everyone there truly enjoys what they do and how much they care about the dogs. I already see such an huge/positive difference in my dogs behaviors, confidence, how he responds to me and the environment around him. In the 3 weeks he was there they provided me with many pictures/detailed explanations of everything he was doing/working on/his eating habits/ bathroom/weight/bathing/nail trimming, and pictures/videos of all of the outings they brought him on. They also posted to their instagram account so I could see in real time everything he was doing as it was happening. Any time I had a question about anything they always got back to me in a timely manner and exceeded my expectations of how communication should be handled in a business. They also sat with me on his training days/pick up day to discuss everything from how it went while he was in training and everything I should be doing/expect when returning home. They answered all of my questions and made sure we were on the same page for the entirety of his stay and for coming home. I also get lifetime training for my dog which I will be continuing to use now and as he gets older. I attended 2 training sessions before he came home. We spent over an hour at the sessions reviewing everything and they showed me how to properly do what they taught him during his stay. They sent me links to all of the proper equipment I needed for continued success at home. They showed me how to use all of my dogs training tools and sent detailed explanations over text of our sessions/commands/how to use his ecollar and more, so I had no confusion once we came home. That was huge for me as well. My dog was in great hands with everyone here and I truly cannot thank them enough. I look forward to working with them in the future.🤍

We just had a great 3 week experience with Coach Caroline at Coaching 4 Paws! Our two retired German Shepherd Show Dogs, Carson and Shelby, went into the class as adults with minimal training (show dogs are not trained in obedience per se and while they may have great personalities, and ours do, they can be a lot to handle if they are not well-trained in obedience). The long story short... we have 2 super stars in the making. Caroline's expertise helped us help them to remain more calm and more receptive to commands (and our ability to issue and enforce those commands with a minimum of verbal input on our part - less is more sometimes and in our case that was perhaps the most helpful thing we learned). 5 Stars Caroline! We'll be back and will come often to the Master Classes which are included with our Boot Camp experience for as long as we make use of them. They will prove to be great reinforcement for Carson, Shelby, and us (Peggy and Mark).

There aren’t enough words to thank Caroline and everyone at Coaching 4 Paws for what they’ve done for my Malinois, Nuke. When I brought Nuke to Caroline at just 8 months old, he was incredibly stubborn, had little respect for commands or boundaries, and pretty much did whatever he wanted. I knew I needed someone who truly understood the breed, before he got out of hand and Caroline was exactly that. She was Nuke’s saving grace. In just four short weeks, the transformation has been unbelievable. Nuke now listens the first time, respects boundaries, walks politely, has excellent recall, and actually looks to me for direction instead of making his own decisions. He’s still the energetic, loving Malinois I fell in love with, but now he’s focused, respectful, and an absolute pleasure to be around. What sets Caroline apart is that she doesn’t just train dogs—she teaches owners how to continue that success at home. Her knowledge, patience, and genuine love for what she does are evident in every part of the process. At only 8 months old, Nuke was at such an important stage in his life, and I truly believe Caroline changed the trajectory of the dog he was going to become. Sending him to Coaching 4 Paws was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. If you’re looking for someone who truly understands dogs, especially high-drive breeds like Malinois, I can’t recommend Caroline and Coaching 4 Paws enough. Thank you for giving me the dog I always knew Nuke could be.

We had both of our dogs complete the 3-week board and train program, and we couldn't be happier with the experience. It's a big investment but we feel it's worth it. Caroline was absolutely amazing throughout the entire process. She sent daily pictures and updates, which really helped ease our minds and allowed us to see the girls' progress every step of the way. The week before they came home, Caroline provided videos demonstrating how to apply everything they had learned so we could confidently continue their training at home. She also took the time to explain the tools we would need and how to use them successfully. Most importantly, Caroline genuinely cared about our dogs and made us feel supported throughout the entire experience. She alleviated so many of my anxieties about leaving them for three weeks, and it was clear they were in great hands. I highly recommend this program and Caroline to anyone looking for professional, compassionate, and effective dog training! Now the real work begins for us to maintain at home going forward. They also offer free group trainings, as needed, going forward.
