Originally from the UK, I now reside in Sarasota, Florida. I have gained extensive experience working with dogs since 1997 and have been professionally training since 2007, teaching group and private lessons. I have experience working with behavioral issues such as reactivity; and teaching dogs and puppies life skills, manners and obedience. My training approach is "least intrusive, minimally aversive" (LIMA), the aim of which is to train your dog with minimal adverse side effects. My training plan is adjusted for each and every dog.

Dawn, what are your charges for one-on-one training with older dogs?
Hi Peg. If I come to your home it is $75 an hour. If you come to my home $60 an hour. That includes, handouts and follow up questions that pertain to that lesson. 6 lesson package and 4 lesson package has a discounts. All prices are on my website. Dawn is the absolute best in the business! She is so knowledgeable in her field, will ask many questions to see what is important to you and to help the owners come away with something as well. Dawn is so patient, will always have hand outs for you or research anything you bring as well. She gets the dog comfortable, knows the breeds (which helped us when we got a puppy and didn't know what to expect), gives you so many tips and tricks, is always a phone call away and really makes strides with the dogs. She has been doing this for many years and is running a great business. Her dog is awesome to use for socialization as well. Dawn has helped us bring our puppy a long way and has stood by us through the many questions/situations we bring to her. We haven't been able to part ways with her, even as he is getting a bit older, because we have built such a great relationship with her (and Dexter) and she has really become one of our dogs favorite people. We will continue to keep Dawn (and Dexter) in our lives as a friend + trainer! 10/10 ALWAYS!
Dawn was a delight to work with. Very knowledgeable, professional and fun. She provided us with tools that we can continue to use to ensure our puppy Freddi is a dog that not only we love to have around but so will others. I would highly recommend Dawn as a trainer! Keep up the great work Dawn.
