Coastal K9

We first used Dan 6 years ago for one of our personal dogs for basic obedience and he did an amazing job. We have since worked with him for numerous fosters for a wide range of needs, and recommended him to many adopters - all of whom rave about their experiences. The reason Dan is so amazing is that he thinks outside the box and tailors the training to the specific dog. Last year he took on the dog from hell with us - no conventional training was working and we were feeling pretty hopeless. Thanks to Dan's determination and guidance we got his behavior under control and even foster failed him! And not only is Dan an amazing trainer, but he has a big heart and gives back to rescue dogs in our local community!!!

Dan Mccaffery does an excellent job training my Doberman Danny. Dan Dan the Doberman loves working with Dan M of Coastal K-9. He trained him to walk loose leash ie no pulling, to recall ie comeback immediately when called, he trained him to sit calmly while a distraction passes by, ie a dog, golf cart, motorcycle, he trained him to heel when walking, I can even walk him off leash and he heels ie walks right by my.side. Dan M even had Danny over for refresher training after a few years went by to tighten up his training in areas I had been slacking. Now my dog is obedient and I can take him anywhere with me.
