Colorados Finest Kennel and Ranch

Our golden retriever, Otto, passed away at the age of 12 yrs and 2 months in April 2019. We knew we wanted another golden retriever and wished we can have another Otto. I researched looking for an independent breeder. I came upon Colorado's Finest Kennel and Ranch. I was convinced that this was the place to get our new puppy based on the fact that Debbie Willard wanted to make sure adapters sign the contracts to guarantee the health of the puppies. It's not to make us feel she's strict, it's because she cares about all puppies before and after they are adapted. I made my deposit in mid-February 2020 and requested a male. We were on vacation when she made the call to let us know that we were next to pick one of the remaining three male puppies. She texted us the pictures and described them as 1) wild and crazy 2) biggest and even tempered 3) smallest and quiet. We chose the wild and crazy one because that perfectly described the late Otto. So we came back from vacation a day early so we could adapt Willard. Boy, Debbie was spot on describing his personality. Willard has been goofy and energetic. I can add that he's very athletic! Within the first two weeks after we brought him home, he already jumping on and off our sofa. He's not afraid to go to higher heights and jump off. He always stuck his landings. Not a dull moment in our household! All in all, Debbie has taken immaculate care of all puppies and can describe the personalities of all puppies. I strongly recommend Colorado's Finest Kennel and Ranch if you are looking for an independent breeder and I give her an A++ rating.

Had a great experience with Debbie getting my golden pup, Lasso, last March. Debbie is incredibly busy but still takes time to do very thorough follow up with customers with any questions or concerns, and talked on the phone at length with me to resolve a question I had when I took Lasso home. With high demand for puppies, I put down a deposit which might be helpful to those who want to get a pup sooner- I don’t think anyone can reasonably expect a guarantee to get a puppy immediately when they are in such high demand, so patience is important. It is clear how much Debbie loves and cares for the dogs, and the ranch itself is beautiful and clean. Lasso is the SNUGGLIEST little nugget, healthy, loves to run, very athletic, affectionate, learns quick, and always comes to comfort me when I’m feeling sad (he just knows!) he never barks or makes any sounds at other dogs/people while on walks, never tries to run away, and can be trusted free in my house with no crate. I wouldn’t change anything about him and am so glad I found him. I’ll never forget the day I picked up my sweet floof ball. If you need a new best furry friend/life companion and love goldens, I definitely recommend this place!

We got Reese in April 2017 at 8 weeks old from Colorado’s Finest Kennel and Ranch. The breeder’s facilities were immaculate and we could tell that the dogs are well cared for. Reese is an amazing dog! From day 1, she has just been so easy, calm, well adjusted and well mannered. She has a beautiful temperament and we feel like the luckiest family to be able to call her ours. I would not hesitate to use this breeder again.

We got our George last August (2018) we were thrilled! We took him to the vet for his puppy shots and sadly we found out that he had a really bad case of ear mites, and he had hookworm. We got that treated and he was good to go! He is a very sensitive boy in all ways, including his multiple allergies he does have. Other than allergies he’s in really great health and shape dispute the little hiccup at first. He is GORGEOUS, the perfect size (41 pounds - smaller than we thought but he’s truly perfect) he is such an amazing dog with the BEST temperament. He LOVES other dogs, humans and especially children. He has the sweetest demeanor & we could not imagine our lives without this dood. He brings so much joy and happiness to our lives. The only thing that makes us sad is knowing he won’t be here forever.

We have purchased three dogs prior to our newest pup. All 3 dogs have been amazing with the utmost outstanding health. The latest as expected, has passed with stellar reports of stellar health. Not that we are surprised as Mark and Dennis hold dear in our heart, the most amazing dogs. We found out about them years ago from our vet. He told us about them. He has seen several dogs that his customer have bought and he said, the pups have all been extremely healthy and from a medical stance seem always extremely happu7and healthy. Would encourage you, if you are in the market to purchase a pup, to go see them. Mark and Debbie, are seriously some of the best from breeders here in colorado.
