How legitimate and honest and can kennels and ranch puppy breeders be trusted
It depends on the facility, compliance with agencies, cleanliness etc. How does all the state, local and Akc inspections perform. Many professional kennels and ranch are much better and reputable than an unlicensed, inexperienced and unknowable home breeder. You would need to discuss the specifics with the individual.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. DO NOT purchase a dog here. I purchased a golden retriever pup here a few years back, and after having the dog for three weeks it died of hydrocephalus (a condition where cerebrospinal fluid builds up in a dog's skull, putting pressure on the brain.) Debbie had acted like she had never heard of such thing. A few years later I met another family that had purchased their golden here as well, everything seemed to be fine..boom Debbie strikes again and two years later their golden also dies, this time of heart failure. It is very obvious why I would not recommend this place to anyone. If you want to save yourself some heartbreak, go elsewhere to find your furry friend.
