Companion Canine Dog Training

Companion Canine was wonderful! We won a free dog training session from a raffle they did at a local event (super cool they did that!) and we got lots of helpful knowledge and tips from them in our session! We have a reactive mini Aussie who has been through training in the past from others and Companion Canine gave us great information that helps boost what we already have been working on while also giving us new ideas we didn't know. They did not look down on us or our dog for being reactive. They were calm, highly experienced, understanding, and very encouraging. I highly recommend!

I came across Becky & Giuseppe via Instagram, and THANK GOD I DID. We are a large working farm and have many animals and livestock, and our growing fur baby family was in desperate need of true training. Outside of me. I am a busy farm momma with young children, a busy schedule and simply lack the true skills to properly train anything! When I met Becky, she reassured me that my pups were starving for structure and needed a purpose, and simply needed to be restarted from the beginning. Although it was a large commitment financially, it was the last option for my family to keep the pups. Bella is a young (found) pup who was homeless and abused, so training her required a true professional. Marcus is our first pup, and is a lab / pit who simply became an attack dog once Bella arrived. For the safety of our farm and family, we entrusted Becky and Giuseppe to help us. Our pups did the 4 week board and train, and all I can say is…. Thank god I did. Our dogs are rewired, they know commands and understand their roll. Not only did the pups get trained, but so did we. We know how to support our dogs, give them what they need from stimulation to down time. We have been so thankful for this experience, and would happily recommend to anyone who is simply stuck.

We recently completed 12 private obedience training sessions with Becky and Gueseppe from Companion Canine, and I couldn't be more thrilled with the results. I found them through Instagram and was immediately impressed by their approach to dog training. Our dog received comprehensive obedience training, including learning to walk on a leash without pulling, mastering a place command (which we use all the time now), reducing demand-barking, and becoming more relaxed in fast-paced environments. The training took place both at our home and in Jacksonville, making it very convenient for us. From the outset, Becky and Gueseppe worked closely with me to prioritize my goals for the training. They provided clear instructions and homework to practice between sessions, which was incredibly helpful. We learned effective low-stimulation leash techniques and e-collar techniques for off-leash training. As a result, our dog is now much better behaved, with his energy and attention directed toward desired behaviors. One standout moment was our wedding, where Huckleberry was on his best behavior and stole the show with his playfulness and obedience. It was a testament to the incredible work done by Becky and Giuseppe. The trainers were excellent communicators and maintained a high level of professionalism throughout the training sessions. I would very highly recommend Companion Canine to any dog owner. The training has truly changed our lives, allowing us to include Huckleberry in even more of our daily activities.
