Complete K-9

I simply can not say enough good words about the training experience that Franky and myself have had and are still having! Franky is my 3 year old Pitbull and boy was he a hand full! He’s the sweetest baby but he just had no obedience and honestly I really had no idea how to go about even trying to train him. I called a trainer in my area and was not impressed at all since all he kept saying was bring me 100$ and your dog for evaluation. He did not listen to any of my concerns or goals I had for me and Franky, just kept saying yeah bring me money and your dog. I called Complete K9 Training services next and SO THANKFUL I did! James talked to me for almost an hour about my baby and really listened to ALL of my concerns. Not once did he ever tell me “just bring me 100$ and the dog”. The evaluation was actually completely FREE!!! I was so impressed with the way they treated Franky I just couldn’t believe it. We have been with Crystal now for a couple of weeks and the change with Franky is absolutely AMAZING! He walks right next to me now on his leash, no more wondering and dragging me everywhere and he now understands the basic commands to make life so much better for me and him both! We still have more training to do but Crystal has made me and Franky so confident and comfortable with this training experience I know Franky is going to be a success!!!

Our girl, Ruby just completed the basic training class offered through Complete K-9 and she is a different dog! It’s amazing what six weeks intensive training can do for a dog! Crystal was Ruby’s trainer and she was awesome! Before we started the training, Ruby was very reactive to other dogs and people, mostly men. The first week of training with Crystal, Ruby was in a sitting position with another dog very close. She didn’t react and sat so obediently. I was amazed! From that week forward, Ruby only improved even more!! We were, at first concerned about the payment, but we now believe, without a doubt, this training was worth every penny!! Thank you Crystal and the Complete K-9 staff for all you did to make Ruby a better dog!! We are thrilled!!!

We have been training with James, Coretta, and Crystal for about 7 months now. When we started, we had about a 3.5-month-old Aussiedoodle and an 8-month-old Labradoodle. They were a lot to handle together! Our aussiedoodle did the board-and-train, and the labradoodle did the one-on-one sessions. We have seen SUCH a difference in their growth and behavior, and both dogs actually LOVE training. They get so excited. Both of them have such wildly different personalities, and Crystal (who we mainly work with) knows how to handle each one depending on their quirks. The knowledge we've gained just from working with Complete K-9 has helped us so much at home with continued training, and our dogs have matured into such well-behaved dogs, even though they are still very much puppies. We're able to take them both places together and they will sit quietly beside us, or walk next to us without trying to meet every person/dog that passes. Before, it was so hard to take them out and about together. James, Coretta, and Crystal are also just so flexible and informative with any questions you send to them at home. You can send them videos of a behavior and they will tell you what is normal/how to handle it/etc. We weren't sure about the dogs' style of "play" when we first got them because the labradoodle was so much bigger at first, but we could send them videos and Crystal would let us know what was "healthy" play and what we need to stop. Their availability to help with those types of questions is something that we've found really helpful outside of the formal training that they received. We plan to enroll both of them in advanced once they get a little bit older and can't wait to see how much they grow from that!

I have been working with Coretta and her staff for almost two years now. I have completed their puppy, basic, and advanced obedience training with my dog Ember. During this time, We have also obtained two AKC titles while laying the ground work for Ember to become a working dog. I cannot stress enough about how this training has given not only Ember, but my family such an incredible quality of life. Coretta and her staff are extremely personable and truly cater to their clients wants and needs.
