Confident Canine with Julie Taylor

Charlee, my golden doodle, is a better behaved dog since we have gone thru Julie’s training. She doesn’t jump on my 89 year old mom anymore and that’s huge. Each training session I would talk to Julie on what I wanted to work on, to include swimming, and Charlee pulling me while walking. Life is much easier now and I have Julie to thank for that. If you are looking for a knowledgeable, fun and personable trainer, Julie is your person.

Julie is a fount of information, techniques, and skills to help a canine owner master difficulties one may have with a fur baby. My German Shepherd is five years old and Julie has worked with Rommel and me two times in the past. He and I recently moved to a smaller home and yard and the move has been a difficult adjustment for him. Julie came at my request to assist me to reinforce good behavior and follow commands. After only one session, Rommel Is making our walk together easier and more pleasurable. I learned about a “new to me” collar and leash that put the control back into my hands. If you live in the CENLA area, I can’t recommend Julie enough!! Almost to the end of our training (one year old beagle-bulldog mix,) and we have seen quite an overall improvement in Gumbeaux’s behavior and ability to follow commands. Julie is a dog lover. You can tell she is one of those special people with the gift of being able to earn trust from any dog quickly, a key ability needed in her kind of work! With multiple certifications and accolades throughout her career, Julie is able to personalize a plan and focus in areas specific to your needs. Please keep in mind, training your dog doesn’t just end with her sessions— but needs to be continued at home through practicing with your dog between sessions and after the course is through. Julie provides the needed insight and tools, but us dog owners are the ones learning and training as well. Where do I even begin…. Mrs. Julie is the BEST!! I have a 7 month old labradoodle (Ollie). Labradoodles are know for their high energy. However, I wanted to be able to bring Ollie to work with me. So, I knew I needed help and that’s when I reached out to Mrs. Julie. What I loved most is she not only teaches your dog but she teaches YOU as well. She helped me with what to watch for in Ollie’s body language and how to handle different situations. Ollie absolutely loved going to training with Mrs. Julie, Chewie, and Pippin.
