She offers private behavior consultations, training, and emotional & behavioral modification primarily for dogs, but also cats/birds/horses for issues like aggression, fear, anxiety, guarding, noise phobias, repetitive behaviors, chewing, separation issues, destruction, and private training for obedience/manners. She also offer agility group classes snake avoidance training. Eileen is awesome. She takes such an extensive history about the dogs to make sure her services are even worth your time. She identified a potential behavioral issue in our golden retriever that she recommended having looked at before trying to train him because she genuinely thought it would hinder his ability to learn. She definitely wants to see the dogs succeed and wants to learn everything about them to make sure they are set up for success. We’ve had one session so far with our other pup and it was really cool to see how much progress was make in a one hour session. We were overwhelmed, shedding tears, and even considering the heartbreaking decision to give her back. But we loved her, we know what an amazing dog she could be. We didn't want to give up on her, so we decided to try private training with Eileen at Confident Caines. It turned out to be the best decision we could have made. Eileen assessed Birdie's behavior with incredible insight, and helped us understand what is normal for her breed. She also gave us the tools and techniques we needed to manage Birdie's reactive tendencies. Eileen didn't just train Birdie; she taught us how to overcome the challenges of having a reactionary dog. Now Birdie is thriving, she is becoming the dog we knew she could be. We couldn't be more grateful for Eileen's expertise, patience, and encouragement. I had the pleasure of my initial meeting with Eileen for my lovely pooch Nala. We have been having some behavioural issues, I am a veterinarian and have been trying from my medical knowledge to work on them and yet we have been struggling. Eileen not only gave me a direction and plan, but also gave me the peace of mind that we were doing the right thing without any form of bias. I cannot wait to continue on our training during our upcoming appointments. It has been an excellent decision to reach out to her and she is worth every penny.
