TLDR; 100% WORTH IT if you have a problem dog that you love. We have a 6-year-old dog named Champion. He is a rescue and has never had any form of training outside of being potty trained. He has been with us since he was a couple months old. As he grew, he became a handful that we ignored such as barking at everything in a vicious manner, attempt to destroy everything in house and outside, terrible fence aggression, ignoring any commands or recall, and dragging us everywhere on walks and completely unruly. We knew something had to be done given we had moved into a new community and did not want to compromise our living arrangements by having neighbors and our landlord thinking we had a dangerous dog. My husband and I discovered copilot academy and saw they had in person lessons but, we knew champion was in a severe state that a couple lessons would not work. Copilot academy also offered boarding and training that we wanted to do. For 2 weeks they would thoroughly work on champion on a one-on-one basis. I have checked other places and while this type of work is pricy, it is much cheaper than most places and states. We decided to give it a shot because we were desperate to have champion in a better state and simply did not have the time to dedicate to such intensive work. The trainer we spoke with was Hannah Snyder. We had an initial meet with Hannah and brought champion along. The sheer knowledge, guidance and expectations she shared gave us much more confidence in working with her. Throughout the training Hannah gave us constant updates regardless of the news being good, bad or mixed. We appreciated the fact that she was upfront about everything. Fast forward two weeks after the training and just wow… the difference in the manners and demeanor of champion was night and day. We almost felt at one point as if champion was switched out for another dog! It has been a couple days after champion’s return as of writing this review and We are just blown away at the discipline he possesses. The sheer peace of mind of walking him without being dragged all over the place and LISTENING to us and the commands Hannah taught him…I cannot put a price on that feeling. We have no regrets on the investment made and Hannah provided extensive details on how to treat champion moving forward to prevent him from regressing. At the end of the day, we are just so happy to have taken this chance and have a dog/son we love being a truly good boy.

We took our one-year old German Shepherd to trainer Hailey at Copilot Academy and we were so impressed by how knowledgable and professional she was! Our dog was very reactive to other dogs and could hardly be around other dogs without becoming aggressive. Hailey helped our dog (and us) gain so much confidence! She gave us practical ways to support our dog's success at home and I use them daily. Not only is she incredibly friendly and responsive, she was very patient with us throughout the training process.
