Lauren and Sarah completely changed our lives in the best way. Despite our best efforts, Mac had behavioral issues, resource guarding, and poor manners. We enrolled Mac into the 4 week program and it was the best decision we have made. Mac is still his goofy, fun, energetic self, but we no longer worry about his behavioral issues. Grooming him ourselves and his professional grooming services have become much easier and less stressful. The best part, is we can take Mac to an open field or empty park and play ball with him for as long as he wants because his recall is so good. We will 100% be repeat clients.

Lauren and Sarah are excellent dog trainers and we are very happy with our recent 4 week board and train behavior modification program. They worked with my dog Millie on resource guarding, body handling/touch sensitivity, public/social manners, muzzle conditioning, and general obedience. We are pleased that we now have the tools and structure in place to manage our challenging dog with aggressive tendencies. They truly care about your dog and its wellbeing and keep you updated on all things related to his/her training. We can't recommend them enough!

Country Life K9 Training deserves 5 stars for the incredible work they did with our 6‑month‑old Saint Bernard, Layla. She came home walking beautifully on leash, staying right by our leg without pulling, and reliably following commands like sit, stay, and lie down. We can now take her inside stores without any concern, and she knows not to run up to other dogs, which has been a complete game changer for us. Lauren and Sarah kept us updated with Instagram and Facebook posts, which made us feel included in her progress and showed how much they care about the dogs. The graduation session was clear and informative, and they gave us easy-to-follow instructions so we could keep Layla’s training consistent at home. They are organized, thorough, and very communicative, and it’s obvious they are both loving and appropriately disciplined with the dogs in their care. They’ve truly made our lives easier, and we trusted them enough to bring Layla back just a couple of weeks later to board when we had to go on an unexpected trip. We had an awesome experience with Country Life K9 Dog Training. Ollie (our 1 year old Lab mix- heavy on the mix) was already a really sweet dog. He knew basic commands (sit, stay, down, come) and listened pretty well inside the house, but outside was a different story. Lots of leash pulling during walks and minimal listening to his commands once we were outside or around distractions, which made things like vet visits, groomer trips, or even the pet store stressful. We found Country Life K9 Training through Google, did some research, and took a chance — and I’m so glad we did! From day one, Lauren and Sarah were super professional, easy to communicate with, and kept us in the loop the whole time. Plus, following Ollie’s progress on Instagram became the highlight of our day! Now, about two months after training, Ollie is a changed man (in the best way possible). He walks nicely on leash, checks in with me, and actually listens even in busy environments. We’re comfortable giving him off-leash time in unfenced areas since we have the e-collar as a reliable form of communication (though he’s doing amazing with verbal cues alone most times)! Field trips are also so much easier. At a recent vet appointment, he was nervous but able to hold a down-stay instead of running around trying to find every possible exit. One of the most underrated changes has been his confidence overall. He used to be wary of men, including my boyfriend, and now he’s much more relaxed… and may even like my boyfriend more than me 😅.
