Cowboy K9 Academy

We have had 2 brothers, English Shepherds for 5 years. We’ve had to walk them at 4am in the morning, constant barking at anything and everyone at the door or in the yard. Not good with people or dogs outside of our house. We have now got 2 very different dogs. It’s night and day different. From communication, to lovely videos, graduation where everything is carefully explained… it’s been an awesome experience. Highly recommend and you will 100% see an amazing change. This training will help with life in a hectic family to being able to feel so confident taking your dogs anywhere. The trainers at Cowboy K9 are so so lovely! Well worth the money and time, effort… we missed our dogs while they were away, but we can enjoy them in a lot more experiences now… so a massive thank you from myself, Jules, Archer, & Hamilton.

They are also the sweetest and most helpful people I’ve ever met. From the moment we started, I could tell they were committed to helping both me and my dog succeed. After researching most, if not all, of the board and train options in the Austin area, we decided to go with Cowboy K9 Academy and we are so happy with that decision. The owners and trainers are personable and really care about your pup. The difference in our puppy's obedience and general behavior has been night and day. We also take advantage of their alumni boarding while we are out of town, and once our pup figures out he's going back to Cowboy K9, he can hardly contain his excitement! Not only do they provide a safe place for him with professionals while we are away, but they also do some refresher training while he is there. Their prices are also very reasonable. I HIGHLY recommend this place!!!

Cowboy K9 Dog Training didn’t just help my dog…. they completely changed our lives. I brought in my girl Remi, an XL Bully with a huge personality to match her size. She was incredibly stubborn, hard to manage, and honestly just too strong for her own good. I felt overwhelmed and unsure if things would ever truly improve. Then we found Cowboy K9 and everything changed. The transformation is nothing short of unbelievable. It’s truly night and day. Remi came back calm, focused, obedient, and so much more confident. But what impressed me most is that this wasn’t temporary. The training didn’t fade once she got home... it stuck. I got updates almost daily: pictures, videos, and text updates. I was kept informed the entire time. They listened to all my concerns and completely went above and beyond in all ways to train Remi and break all her bad tendencies. We couldn’t be happier with our experience at Cowboy K9 Academy! Our pup, Lucy, just completed her second training program, and the results have been incredible. For her first session, she trained with Ayesha during a 2½-week stay, and most recently she completed a full 3-week program with Micah. Both trainers were absolutely outstanding—professional, patient, and clearly passionate about what they do. They not only trained Lucy, but also helped us better understand how to reinforce her skills at home. Additionally, Armaan has been very responsive to our questions and requests. He is very attentive, friendly and professional. The transformation in Lucy’s behavior, confidence, and responsiveness has been amazing to see. It’s clear she was well cared for and received consistent, high-quality training in both programs.
