Crafty Canine Club

I can't say enough good things about Crafty Canine Club! We dropped off our rescue pup who was nervous and unsure of himself and when we picked him up four days later he was much happier and more confident. Now we're reinforcing the things he learned instead of trying to figure out where to start! Don sent regular updates on our pup's progress with photos and videos. It was awesome to see how quickly he settled in and got comfortable with the other dogs! We'll be back!

I rescued my adorable little fur baby Buddy from the San Diego Humane Society about 4 months ago, he came from a hoarding situation and was extremely undersocialized to people, and other animals. I tried my best to reach out any way I could for help, with unfortunately no results. Buddy did not allow us to pet him, and was incredibly fearful of the leash/collar. I reached out to Don and heaven sent, he also had one of the dogs from Buddy’s hoarding group, who he was working with (Caden.) Don was very quick to answer my call and to give me great advice. Don (bless his heart) drove all the way down from Poway after a long day and came to see Buddy, he was able to get him comfortable enough to walk around, we got a harness on him, and he was finally able to get Buddy to go out on a little walk. I was extremely shocked, emotional, and overwhelmed with happiness. Buddy is without a doubt a work in progress but Don was incredibly patient and understanding of his situation, and worked to break that fear inside of him. Don left me with homework, a sense of hope, and let me know that he wanted me to reach out with buddy’s progress. It’s hard these days to find trainers that solely care about the dog, and not about the money, and Don has a huge place in his heart for these scared fearful dogs, it’s always about the animal and the owner for him. I would recommend anyone who has a rescue and is at the end of their rope to PLEASE reach out to Don, this man KNOWS what he’s doing. He only wants to see these dogs come out of their shells and experience the world. Only one private session and there was a dramatically positive change. I can’t thank Don enough for taking the time to come and see Buddy. We both are so thankful and grateful he’s around. Thank you, Don!

We adopted a 7 month old puppy from the humane society who had previously before been an only outside dog. He had no house manners, wasn’t very social with other dogs, nipped a lot and jumped on others when he was overly excited. In the month and a half that we have had out German Shepherd I have seen more improvement then I could imagine! He listens to commands insanely was, he’s playing with other dogs perfectly, and has calmed down as much! I have left my dog on over nights at Crafty Canine Club and never had to worry! Our pup will continue to go there for forever!

We have used Crafty Canine a few times now. The facilities are exceptional and the staff is always helpful, friendly and prompt with responses. We have a young energetic boxer who showed aggression towards other dogs. Don has been patient and professional and has helped our dog overcome his aggression towards other dogs. We receive updates and pictures/videos while he is boarding there, which we love. Our dog loves going for car rides now, probably because he thinks he is going to Crafty Canine. I couldn’t recommend Don and his facility more. They are professional and caring, but most of all they are exceptional at what they do. I wouldn’t board or train my dogs anywhere else.
