Our Dachshund-Beagle mix, Dolly, was having trouble with separation anxiety and lacked social skills. Her separation anxiety was very hard to deal with since my boyfriend and I both work. Leaving her alone would lead to lots of barking and whining/crying while we were out. We had to resort to leaving her with family when we would go to work during the day. But that was starting to prove unsustainable very quickly. Dolly's socialization also needed a lot of work. She would tug on walks, be reactive toward other dogs and/or people that we would walk past. Living in a high traffic area near lots of shops, this made walks very challenging for us. Having guests over would also require constant supervision of our little pup as she would bark and growl at newcomers almost the whole time they were over. Crafty Canine Club came highly recommended by our Dog's Vet. After reading many glowing reviews, I scheduled a behavior assessment a few days after Dolly's Vet appointment. Upon scheduling, Don was very friendly and gave us lots of information about Crafty Canine Club. During her assessment, Don observed Dolly and asked all the right questions to get an idea of what he would be working with and find the root cause of her behavior. He gave me lots of information about boarding her, how he would approach training during her stay, and what to expect. Fast forward a few days later, we brought Dolly home and we noticed a big difference in her behavior the very next day! She was more relaxed on our walks and listened to commands without hesitation. She was also walking next to us with a loose leash which we could never get her to do before. Constant barking at other dogs and people was also no longer happening on our walks! Dolly's separation anxiety also improved after working with Don and she is more calm when left alone. We are still working on her socialization but we already knew that would take some time and practice (for us as owners as well), so Dolly will be back to hang out at Crafty Canine Club soon. What really helped us and boarding our pup for the first time was Don’s open line of communication and his feedback. He will keep you updated every day on how your dog is doing. If he is training your dog, he will send you home with great tips to keep up the training, and even follow up to see how it’s going. His dedication to the dogs he works with and their humans is really great! We are so glad to have found Don’s services and will definitely be working with him in the future!

Crafty Canine Club is the perfect place for your dog’s home away from home. Being our first puppy together for my husband and I, we were nervous about leaving him for an extended period of time. Don reassured us he would be well loved and taken care of - and that exceeded all expectations! From the first assessment to when we dropped him off for his boarding, we learned how knowledgeable and intentional Don was with getting to know our puppy. The facility is perfect for playing and making new friends and there are options for where your dog will sleep – unlike most places! While on our trip, we received updates, photos, and videos and Don even answered questions about our dog’s behavior when asked! It really made our trip less stressful knowing our puppy was well taken care of. Don really worked with him to help him respect and play with other dogs better, listen to commands, and helped with loose leash walking for some extra training. Our puppy is only 9 months, so we still have lots of energy and behaviors to work on. Don has continued to answer questions and help us to understand our dog better to help us and him learn. His training style and manual are a huge help! We highly recommend Crafty Canine Club to anyone looking for boarding and training!

Crafty Canine Club is hands down the best boarding experience we’ve ever had. Our dog can be a bit fickle when it comes to boarding situations, so for 8 years we’ve struggled to find friends and sitters every time we go out of town. Needless to say, it was such a pain. But when we took Heidi to meet Don at Crafty Canine, she fell in love with him and the beautiful facility and yards. I feel great knowing she’s in such good hands, as Don is also a certified trainer. He takes a personal approach with each pup to assess their personalities and needs, and he plans their days accordingly. Heidi can spend the day making friends or she can chill solo in a side yard. He never takes on too many pets at once either so it’s not an overwhelming experience. I’m so grateful for the peace of mind we get knowing she’s being loved and well cared for. And we love receiving the picture and video updates throughout her stays... I swear, she smiles the whole time!

Crafty Canine Club came highly recommended to me for boarding and training. I loved the service from the initial sign up for a free assessment to the 14 day board. The service was personalized for my dog, Dallas and me & my family. My nerves of leaving him were eased with updates including photos and videos of his time there. Don answered all of my questions and explained the process of his training and Dallas' progress while there. He made the transition back home smooth. The continued support back home has been incredible. I look forward to bringing him back for play dates and boarding. I recommend this place to new pet owners looking for training & owners just looking for a safe and friendly place to board their pets.

Don and his team are amazing!!! We were looking for somewhere new to board our two frenchies, and a trainer to help us with some behavior issues. After visiting and researching about 15 different places we found the Crafty Canine Club! These guys are are wonderful! The place is beautiful and so clean! The staff is great, too. When boarding your pups you’ll receive text messages of videos and pics of your pup having a blast. Im pretty sure my pups hate when I pick them up to bring them back him :-). After boarding our pups there for only 2 nights we saw major behavior improvements. Don gave us some really great tips on how to be better pack leaders and it’s made all the difference! We can not recommend this place enough!
