At Custom-K9 Dog Training & Boarding, we use a balanced, relationship-based approach grounded in proven learning science. We focus on building behaviors through positive reinforcement while providing clear, fair feedback when behaviors are unsafe or inappropriate. Our goal is simple: reward what we like, guide what needs improvement, and communicate in ways dogs truly understand. By combining motivation with structure, we create reliable, real-world behaviors and confident, well-mannered dogs.

Agatha, our pup, could not love her training/day care more! We’ve adopted Agatha about 6 months ago & she has some leash reactivity but has had so much progress thank to Jeff, Beckie, & the rest of their team. Not only has she learned her basic commands but has maintained & continues to grow. She absolutely loves going to “school” & loves not only her puppy friends but also the great humans that run the place. We so much appreciate all the guidance & support we receive! Highly recommend for both training & day care!

We had an amazing experience with Jeff and Marwa! They worked with our 10 month old Australian Labradoodle through their 4 week board and train program, and the results have been incredible.
Our puppy was very reactive and needed structure, guidance, and consistent training. Jeff and Marwa not only helped her build those foundational skills, but they also made sure we as owners understood how to properly reinforce and continue that training at home.
They truly set us up for long term success. Even after the program ended, their support did not stop. We are able to join group training sessions every weekend, which has been invaluable for continued progress and socialization.
Our dog is now 2 years old, and we still attend group sessions. Jeff is always available to answer questions and provide guidance as our dog continues to grow and go through different life stages. It is reassuring to know we have a knowledgeable and supportive team to rely on.
We are so grateful for everything they have done and highly recommend them to anyone looking for dedicated, effective dog training.

My dog Teddy was such an anxious boy and couldn’t be around other dogs, but thankfully me and my wife found custom k9 a few years ago and Jeff took time to learn and train Teddy and now he attends doggy day care with other dogs. Thank you custom k9!

My rescue dog has always been selectively reactive to other dogs and Custom K9's structured daycare has been a safe and trustworthy place for her to develop her socialization skills (and get out some of her energy). I've also learned so much as a dog owner for how I can reinforce good behaviors while on walks, etc. Jeff and Beckie are professional, warm, and so easy to work with. Highly recommend Custom K9!
