DareDevil Dog Training

Our dog Jake did the 10-day program and it was well worth it! He came home with a solid base of skills (like place) that allowed us to keep making progress with his training. I also loved that DareDevil shared pictures and videos on their instagram throughout the week so we could see how he was doing (along with email updates too). We worked with Alyssa who was super knowledgeable and did a great job of communicating expectations and process. Overall, loved the experience and Jake did too - highly recommend!

During my consultation, instead of thinking of ways to troubleshoot and help my dog's reactivity towards other dogs and new puppy, she told me to sell/rehome my puppy instead. It felt very dismissive and as if she did not want to attempt to do her job and try and fix the problem. It is one thing to give a disclosure and say "if this training does not work then next step is removing the puppy", however training suggestions were not even provided.

I sent my lab and my corso to Alyssa’s board and train program to help with my lab’s fear reactivity to strangers and dogs and help my corso’s severe separation anxiety. As we continue to train with her, she has been the most patient and helpful in aiding us navigate life together. My lab can now meet strangers and not freak out, though we are still fine tuning his reaction to dogs, it’s one giant relief to have one thing less to worry about as we continue training with her. My corso has come a long way with her anxiety as well! I would absolutely recommend and have been recommending Daredevil Dog Training to anyone who is looking for a trainer as I have seen such a big difference in my dogs. As we continue to train with Alyssa and her team, I can’t help but wanting to kick myself for not having my lab sent to her years ago when he initially started having his issues, but it’s never too late to start so even if your dogs older like my lab is(5) there’s still time to train and enjoy life with your pups when you have an awesome trainer like the team here!

Alyssa has been absolutely amazing to work with! I cannot recommend her enough! We enrolled our 1yo Rottie/Great Dane mix in her Dream Dog 21 day board and train program and could not be happier! Leo had resource guarding tendencies that myself and my partner were concerned with and not sure how to handle. As soon as we booked Leo’s stay, Alyssa began answering any of our emails about his current behaviors, and how to best work on them in the meantime until his stay and training with her began. While Leo was away, we received plenty of updates via social media as well as individual outreach about his progress during his stay. When the program ended, our go-home session was incredibly thorough and I felt confident that the information was going to stick. Alyssa was able to take all of the hours of repetition and my inability to effectively communicate with my dog out of the equation. Her follow-up lessons continue to reinforce and work on all of the great behaviors he developed while during his program. I have learned so much over the course of our follow up lessons, it goes to show that the training is just as much for you as it is for your dog! It has now been 4 months since his stay and Leo continues to show how impactful Alyssa’s training has been. We just added two kittens to our house and he has been so patient and well behaved as we are slowly introducing them into his space. We cannot express how amazing the entire experience has been. 1,000,000 stars!

Alyssa is a gem. Our Molly (a 2yr old Corgi) attended her 21-day Dream Dog program and we couldn't be happier with the results! Alyssa's process is thorough, thoughtful, and truly focused on the safety and wellbeing of the dog. Molly started as a complete nightmare on her walks (pulling, darting into the street, never listening, eating everything on the floor) to a well-behaved curious companion who is a total joy to walk with now. We can even take her off-leash at the park! As first time dog owners, we had no idea what we were doing, but with Alyssa's meaningful guidance, we were able to maintain the training at home with Molly. The Dream Dog program has helped us to build a stronger bond with our pup, and we're so grateful to Alyssa and her team - couldn't have done this with out her!
