I specialize in our Board & Train program for puppies, but I also offer Premium Boarding for both puppies AND puppy-loving adult dogs! Your dog will live with me in my home, where we focus daily on carefully selected training goals.
The work is demanding, but the environment is fun, with new playmates to romp around with under shady trees. At night, we sleep in the same room so the pups feel cozy and safe. When you pick up your pooch at the end of the program, you receive a free transfer session so you can use your pup's new skills immediately!

I have a dog that is exhibiting some sort of separation anxiety? He refuses to let anyone but me walk him, if anyone else tries he pees or expresses his anal glands. amongst other things, is this something you have seen, any tips on how to break it?
Hi Taylor! So sorry you are going thru this with your dog. Sounds like time for a game of Open Bar/Closed Bar -- a classic which teaches your dog that good things happen when new people approach.
1. Figure out what your dog loves more than anything in this world. A particular treat? A certain toy? Let's say it's CHICKEN.
2. Simply sit with your dog, feeding him chicken, as the dogwalker stands across the street. Just let your dog watch and eat.
3. Over time, have your walker move slowly, indirectly, but gradually closer. All the time you are shotgunning your dog delicious chicken and praising like crazy!
4. Next, have the walker move farther back. Oh no! The chicken dries up, and the praise stops.
5. Repeat -- the walker approaches, treats and happy talk. The walker moves away, treats disappear.
6. Over time, you will be close enough that your walker can walk beside you. Continue the food, but eventually your walker will take over feeding (and the leash).

We feel incredibly lucky to have found Dan (+ Holly!) Grant and Denver Dream Dog. He is an incredibly intuitive and skilled trainer who really cares about the dog's wellbeing. Our golden retriever Teddy has enjoyed everything from puppy board + train to regular boarding to day training to daycare with Dan and family. Teddy comes home tired and happy! Dan and his family are an extremely beloved part of our little community now - don't know what we'd do without them!

Denver Dream Dog was recommended to us over a year ago by several trainers we had used for our young lab puppy. I was looking for a consistent Doggy Daycare, and Boarding given our crazy travel schedule. This place has literally been a dream. They are the best dog lovers a person could find. They are kind, treat my dog Tink like a princess, and a part of their family. She gets constant attention, top notch training and love. Our pup loves it so much she jumps out of the car the second we pull up. Could not recommend them more.

We love Denver Dream Dog and so does our dog, Takoda!
He gets super excited when we start packing his travel bag to go over there.
We especially enjoy getting videos showing him playing with the other dogs while he is there.
I would highly recommend anyone in need of boarding and or training.

Dream Dogs has become a second family for my two doxies. Not only are they perfectly behaved from impeccable training, they are so excited every time we pull up to Dream Dogs and cannot wait to go inside and play. Dan and his family care for my dogs as their own and I would recommend using Dream Dogs to anyone.

My dogs are almost 9 and 6 years old. My 9 year old has been going to play at Denver Dream Dog since she was 6 months old. She is so well socialized and loves Aunt Carie, Uncle Dan and Aunt Holly so much. My 6 year old has also been going to Denver Dream Dog since he was8 weeks old. He loves everyone. They are awesome!!!!!!
