Diamond Dog Academy

We just completed our on-leash training with Randy with our 2 year old Great Pyrenees Mix rescue and I am so glad we did!! If I’m being honest, it was hard and overwhelming at first - there is just as much training the dog as it is training the owner! But adopting a large rescue dog, especially as a mom who has 3 young (6 and under) kids, my husband and I knew we needed training for us, our kids, and our dog to be safe, confident and know the way we could all succeed. Randy was great and from our first call to the first meeting, I knew that if we put in the work, we would see results. And 5 weeks later - great success! We have a great foundation established, my husband and I feel confident in our ability to handle and walk the dog, even pushing a stroller with 3 kids (ask me how I know… they were alongside us for most of the trainings and Randy was great and patient with us, while also holding us to a standard of practice and excellence). I definitely recommend Diamond Dog Academy!

I can’t recommend this Diamond Dog Academy enough. In just five sessions, I’ve seen a noticeable difference in my dog, not just in behavior but in overall confidence. My dog is more calm, responsive, and engaged, and it genuinely feels like I have a completely new dog. I have a 100# pitbull mix, who had developed some and habit. Randall handled him so well, it was quite impressive. What stood out most was how much I learned as an owner. I was taught practical, easy-to-apply techniques that completely changed how I interact with my dog on walks and at home. Because of that, I feel so much more confident and in control in situations that used to be stressful. I can now take my dog on my runs without trouble! If you’re on the fence, don’t be. The results speak for themselves, and the impact goes beyond just obedience , it builds a stronger, more trusting relationship with your dog.

My dog Sunny completed Randy’s on-leash training and he is a completely different dog on walks! Sunny doesn’t care about treats or have any kind of food motivation, so I had to find an alternative training method. Randy’s correction collar method is so effective. Now I don’t have to worry about carrying treats around. All I need is Sunny’s leash and collar. Randy is so adept at understanding individual dog’s behaviors and helping tailor the training to the dog. Sunny was an anxious and timid guy and now is a confident and happier pup thanks to Randy! Walks, restaurant patios, parks, etc. are a breeze! Can’t wait to move into off-leash training with Randy!
