Digman Canine Academy

Wow, we can’t praise Ethan and Digman Academy enough, our dog Gretchen was such a challenge, from leash pulling, no social skills, bad behavior around company among many other issues but we did a 7 pack training with Ethan and found out we needed as much training as Gretchen did. She has changed so much in just 2 months, from heel to social skills, we took her yesterday to Lowe’s shopping and she did so great, no more lunging at people just walking along so wonderful. Her in home attitude has changed so much also, much calmer, no jumping on us or visitors, a much more relaxed dog. Thank you a million times over.

Claire and the trainers at Digmans are top notch! We have two playful doodles…one stubborn and one that lacked focus. Both were barkers and dog reactive. After 7 working sessions, they both are able to stay in place, heel, walk by other dogs and barking in and out of the house is reduced by a ton!!! There’s still work to be done and we’re committed since they have come SO far! We loved the way things were explained and we never felt pressure to do anything since day 1…it was all recommendations and we decide. Highly recommended for any dog to correct behavior or learn new skills. Worth the time and money!

5* just isn’t enough. We adopted a 6mo old pitbull mix that had been passed around from person to person by time we fostered him. He had some structure but was very excitable and difficult to harness his energy. We were recommended DCA from several friends and I can truly say it’s been life- changing for our family and for Kevin. Kelsey did private lessons with us for 7 weeks and laid excellent groundwork for us to continue training. While 7 hours of training might not seem like much, the lessons are simple yet packed with information. We gained friendships and a well-trained dog. We then did advanced training with Ethan to give Kevin more confidence off-property. He was enthusiastic in helping not only the dogs, but their owners gain confidence in difficult situations. They also offer small refresher classes occasionally in the form of large group pack walks at no charge - if that’s not a testament to how they truly care about the animals, I’m not sure what is. I can confidently say I will forever be a client with any dog that comes into my life. DCA is a true shining star to our small community. Well done!
