Ricky Jones has been absolutely paramount to my success working with my very fearful puppy. I have had my puppy since 8 weeks and she developed leash aggression, toy aggression and food aggression. Ricky helped me identify how I can work with my puppy for who she is and use tools to help her gain confidence in those situations. He helped me when I felt frustrated and hopeless. I’m so grateful for his support because now Sloane and I are much more confident how we communicate with each other and we are hopeful with each other walking through life together. I contacted Ricky when we rescued a 4 month old puppy. She was wonderful, but was extremely high energy which was something we did not know how to properly handle. After a few private sessions with Ricky, we know how to use her energy mentally and physically to support a happy and healthy life for our puppy. We worked on a lot of behavior changes around the house and he also taught our girl frisbee which is something we enjoy daily with her now! (So much fun and drains the energy) We struggled with her jumping, leaving the room, barking, and walk training and Ricky provided all the necessary tools/tips/tricks to handle it in the best way. I reached out to Ricky regarding my Pittbull mix who began having a lot of behavioral issues. He became reactive to both people and other animals, which led us to not be able to bring him to daycare, dog parks or any other public settings. Ricky immediately scheduled us, and day one we started implementing techniques. He has been so supportive and helpful with his individual and group classes. I had a private class with Ricky to try to help my Springer Spaniel, Kaeden, with his anxiety and reactivity. It was well worth the price. Not only is Ricky and amazing person, he's an amazing trainer. There's great online content to help you through training exercises and show your what you're supposed to be doing. The philosophy he teaches really helps improve the life quality of my dogs, and even my other dog is a lot happier and more energetic by following Ricky's instructions. At first glance, Kaeden didn't make a lot of progress during the class time but the baby steps he made were huge steps forward in his training. I've continued with the skills Ricky taught us and Kaeden is making bigger and bigger steps forward all the time. I can really see the effect of getting him to think not just listen and the confidence building we were working on. I can see my dog thinking and figuring things out. I'm certain that is we keep working, I'll get my baby boy to a place where we can comfortably and confidently get through everyday and go to special events, like agility trials, which Kaeden's anxiety was preventing.
