Ricky was recommended to us by friends when we adopted our 5 year old rescue dog, Finley a few months ago. Although sweet and calm when alone with us, she was showing fear and some aggression when meeting new people or when in new situations. Ricky’s calm and kind demeanor along with his solid training methods have helped tremendously. We have been given the lessons and training tools needed to build her confidence as well as ours when exposing her to new surroundings and to people she doesn’t know. Each lesson has produced a happier, more confident dog who is able to enjoy more places with us and we couldn’t be happier with the results so far or more grateful.

Our 9 month black lab was very headstrong and defiant. We couldn’t put on her harness. She chewed up her leash. She was impossible to walk. Within 5 lessons with Ricky, Bella is now easy to leash up and walk. She’ll sit or lay down patiently waiting for me to continue our walk if I’m busy talking with a neighbor. She has positive reactions to other dogs, even if they’re barking at her. Ricky not only taught me how to get the most of what Bella has to offer, which turns out to be a lot, he’s taught me ways to help her relax. His recommendations on various products for Bella have been extremely successful, from her feeding mat to her chew bones.
