Dog Days Training Center

Our 6-month-old Shephadoodle just finished a 10-day board-and-train program with Laurie and the Dog Days team, and the results have been amazing! They not only trained our puppy but also gave us practical tips and the right tools to keep up the progress at home. Today we enjoyed a 3-mile walk with no pulling or barking—something I never thought possible with a high-energy pup! Laurie and her team were patient, knowledgeable, and truly cared about helping us succeed. Highly recommend Dog Days for anyone looking for expert training and support.

Every part of working with Dog Days Training Center has been amazing. Our pup Freya was identified as a shy/nervous pup. (At her first session she wouldn't go near another dog she was so scared). Through working with DDTC we were able to socialize her the RIGHT way and she really came out of her shell. She still gets overstimulated at times but she's no longer fearful of everything. Beyond that DDTC has helped us through the basics: house training, commands, keeping her engaged and not destructive as we enter adolescents. We did a combination of private lessons and their board and train program. My only disappointment is that they aren't running puppy classes because of COVID. We had found them through a family recommendation who had two dogs go through their programs (two of the best dogs I've ever known). I cannot recommend them enough. As long as we have dogs we'll be DDTC customers.

Laurie, Shay, Adam and Sally are the best. Our family has had dogs for 25 years but when we brought our 9 month old 50 # and growing, golden doodle - Sami- to Dog Days we were at the end of our rope. I was ready to send him away. Laurie and her team spent 1-2 hours with the initial consultation and we learned SO much in that one afternoon. Sami had an initial 3 week board and train stay. It was night and day when we picked him up. Sami was happy, following commands, and we had another 1+ hour training session with the team. We left with a clear plan for home. We continue with classes with Adam and Shay on site and use Dog Days as a kennel when we are traveling. The facility is beautiful and the care is spectacular. Sami loves "camp" at Dog Days. We are now well on the way to having the family dog that we hoped for. I would give 10 stars if I could.

Our Lab's first stay at Dog Days was at 12 months. We learned, probably just in time, that we needed to change our approach with our training of an especially high energy pup. With the staff's expert guidance, including quick responses to our follow-up questions, we and our pup got on a much better path. We're grateful that Dog Days helped us in fostering calmness and a productive relationship with our pup.
